So here we have a really awesome compilation of games. It's Adventure Island pirates at this week's pirate game of the week!
You can't beat the music of these games. The sound track is fun, and adventurous. Hudson sure did the job right and these pirates did the right move in order to place these three gems together. My favorite music is from Adventure Island 2. Which is yours?
The graphics are three times as good because of these three gems in the same cartridge. The games have the 8-bit graphic beauty all over them. Especially when it comes to Adventure Island 4 as it came out in 1994 when the Famicom was in its final year of life. With beautiful backgrounds and more bad guys than you can ask for, you have a winner.
What can you say about the gameplay of these masterpieces? It's good! That's about it! You can't get any better than this as this is the series that rivaled the Super Mario series. The only difference is that difficulty as you'll really wanna pull your brains out when you play this game especially in the later levels. My advice, if you get frustrated with one, you still have two other Adventure Islands to play through.
These are the games to have that you will want to pick up and play any time. If you are looking for classic platform action, then you have found the right combination of games! Going from the first island to the eight and final island has never felt so much fun!
With the infinity of pirate multicarts out there you are bound to find a couple of winners. This one has every single Adventure Island that you will ever need for a long evening of gaming. It's only missing the first one but parts 2-4 open so many doors of gameplay that keeps it interesting and fun. Gotta pick this one up, that's for sure! Until next week!
