Retro Game Ending 002: TMNT (NES)
Before discussing I must warn you that I will be showing the ending so if you don't want to see it, well skip along!
TMNT for the NES has been said to be one of the toughest TMNT games for any console although the DOS TMNT is quite more difficult to get through so the NES version has some competition. Anyhow, this game is not that difficult once you understand the turtles' roles. Donatello and Leonardo are your offensive lines while Raphael and Mike should defend and take all the damage from such stages as the dam and Technodrome. If you can't figure it out, well then you just gotta keep practicing to be able to find your way through the game.
Even though Shredder is the final boss of the game I feel like the Technodrome is the most difficult boss of them all. You not only have to take out all of this different areas but you also have to destroy the eye! Oh, and get this! The Technodrome won't take damage until you hit it in the eye! The rest is just well stuff in the way. Be sure to have your defense turtles ready for this one because it's going to hurt like hell! Cowabunga!
Shred-head is gonna get it now!
So moving on to the final dude of them all, Shredder. Shred-head here is quite easy if you can jump on the top platform and hit him every time he jumps up to hit you. This works best with Donatello as his bo takes up more real state than the other weapons. You will have him defeated in no time!
Once defeated, you will get a very decent ending. I know there have been some horrible endings in retro games but this one is quite good. Not sure what master Splinter meant when he turned into his human form out of nowhere, was he holding that out just to inspire the turtles to destroy his rival? Maybe, or maybe not. Here is what he looks like as a human being!
Of course, once you defeat the foot clan he will tell you how you have over passed him in skills! What an honor! Hmm looks like we are missing someone....
April! Yeah, she also appears congratulating you for a job well done and offers to take you out for pizza. Now that's what I call a great reward by a sexy lady.
Then finally, you will get this final sentence concluding your TMNT adventure. Well done sir, you have just finished a very difficult game now get on with the DOS version.
I hope you liked this collage although not put together of my TMNT adventure. I gotta say the game is quite easy and enjoyable. The music is very upbeat and the monsters are just as freaky as you will ever see in a NES title although I have seen more freakier. Until the next Retro Game Ending!

Retro Game Ending 001: Star Fox 64 has been conquered!
I finally got to the later levels including the one where you have to destroy the cargo train with the land tank thing you drive around. It was a nice change but I rather fly. The final level was pretty sweet as well. You fly through a whole set of monsters that keep coming at you. Then you get inside a temple and fight a stone monster. After that boss which was pretty easy, you get to fight against the face of the final boss? LOL yup you fight the face..... Andros is kind of hard...it's just a matter of finding the pattern and learning it. I wasted around three lives to defeat this guy but the ending was really worth it. The best part of course is the ending where Star Fox sends a bill for all the ships they have shot down. That's a lot of monah! har har har
Anyways, I think every time I beat a game which is not that often, I'll blog about my experience. Until next time!
