Game-bit of the day 999: Treasure of the Rudras (SNES)

Another game we never got but has been translated and has become a repro for everyone to enjoy. This is a classic RPG by Squaresoft. Definitely check it out.

Game-bit of the day 998: Excite Bike BS (SNES)

Another Satellaview exclusive. This one brings some of the Mario characters in a game of Excite Bike! It's fun and it comes with the voices of Mario and others. I believe they are the ones from Mario Kart 64. I mean, it's kinda cheap but better than no voices right?

Game-bit of the day 997: Radical Dreamers (SNES)

This is a text adventure which is based on the world of Chrono Trigger. It was released only through Satellaview for the SNES which was an online service for Super Famicom owners in Japan. There are quite a few games that got that treatment and we ended up missing out on them. Nevertheless, savvy programmers have not only translated these lost gems, but made reproduction carts of them for everyone else to enjoy. I'm going to hunt down all of them!

Game-bit of the day 996: Karate (Atari)

Here is Karate bootleg Atari game for the well, Atari. The best part about this game is the artwork, that's it.

Finds 1194: Secret Files, Ridge Racer 7, and the Girl and the Robot!

Three interesting additions. Secret Files was just a new discovery on my part. Ridge Racer 7 is just a great one for the series and the Girl and the Robot looks pretty awesome and underrated.

Game-bit of the day 995: Holy Diver (NES)

This game has finally been released for the NES. Is that awesome or what? Yes, this is that tough side scroller many people have lost to, it's great! The collector's edition is packed with goodies. This is probably something I'll focus on during the Halloween season.

Game-bit of the day 994: Mega Man (PC)

This game is awful but I wanted the box regardless. It's just another piece of gaming history that's worth having on your shelf just to have a conversation about it. Yes, this is Mega Man for the PC and it's just horrible! Want to try it out on my Packard Bell?

Finds 1193: Kobuto V Burst Battle, King's Bounty, and Battlecorps

This is a pretty nice pick up. Battlecorps is a decent game by CORE while King's Bounty is boring as fuck! Totally worth it though... Kobuto V is another cute girly game... I love those though...

Game-bit of the day 993: Volume (PS4)

A very neat game by Limited Run Games that comes with a VR mode....I should really get the VR mode... like really!

Finds 1192: Soul Star , Board Game Top Shop, and Lunar 2 Manual are Mine!

A very awesome day as I picked up Soul Star for the Sega CD. I've been wanting that one for a while due to the fact that it utilizes the Sega CD's hardware on point. The Lunar Manual is finally mine to add to complete my game! I'm so happy!

Finds 1191: SNES Repros! Treasure of the Rudras, Excite Bike BS, and Radical Dreamers!

Three amazing repros that I've been wanting for a while! Two of them were only available through Satellaview back in the days of the Super Famicom. I highly recommend each of them. Game on!

Game-bit of the day 992: Siralim (PS4)

Another classic game adaptation to newer consoles. These have become a genre of their own nowadays with so many releases. We do love the retro style gameplay though..

Finds 1190: Limited Run Games! Valkyrie + and Valhallo!

Two games that I forgot I ordered finally arrived. I gotta say, it's really hard to keep track of all these limited releases at times. Check them out!

Game-bit of the day 991: Amazon Trail II (PC)

From the creators of Oregon Trail, comes Amazon Trail 2 for the PC. The game is another adaptation of the survival genre Oregon Trail introduced. There were various games like these and they were totally fun.

Finds 1189: Atari Bootlegs, Sega Bootlegs, and an Odd Accessory!

I got a bunch of games from Venezuela and they are pretty awesome! They are bootleg and were extremely cheap. I am wondering what's going on with these artists. I gotta say, the artwork is beautiful in its own way although some might be stolen from other places. There is an odd accessory as well. Lets take a look!
Look at the Donkey Kong cover, does it make any sense? NO!
 That's one messed up smurf!
 errr Pacman is getting electrocuted...
A few Genesis games and a very odd accessory called the Color Magic Card 2 which gives color to your regular games...I really have to test this out.

Game-bit of the day 990: Robopit (Saturn)

A very bizarre looking game for the Saturn. We keep hitting all these hidden games that no one has ever heard of. Anyways, this game is about robots fighting it out. Remember those robot fights from Tech TV? Well, this is just like it. Battle it out, increase your rank, and become the champ!

Finds 1188: Holy Diver Collector's Edition!

Thanks to Castlemania for such an epic collector's edition of a game that we never got here! This is Holy Diver for the NES and it's hard as fuck! Should I say any more?

Game-bit of the day 989: Princess Crown (Saturn)

Another Saturn game, but this time it's for the import Saturn. This one is called Princess Crown and it's just a beautiful hack n slash game. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is just wonderful. It's a must have for any Saturn owner.

Finds 1187: Heroes of the World Fighter ! Bootleg TMNT Figures!

It's been over 20 years since I've seen these action figures! They are called Heroes of the World Fighter but I thought they were the turtles back then. As you may know, I grew up in Peru and we had and still have our fair share of bootleg stuff. The nostalgia these brought me has been amazing! I only had the Leonardo but found a dude on eBay selling the entire set. I was sold! They're beautiful!

Game-bit of the day 988: Battle Monsters (Saturn)

This game is yet another fighting game that was forgotten. This one does have some awesome graphics in my opinion. It feels like another generic fighting game but it does have its charm. Definitely check it out.

Finds 1186: Mega Man for the PC!

This is one horrid game but I was still going to get it. Why? The box art is just beautiful! I love how horrible it looks. What is Rush doing back there? I don't even think he's on the game!

Share:

Game-bit of the day 987: Criticom (Saturn)

Another one of the bunch of Saturn games that have been forgotten. I should really start a series in which these games are mentioned!

Finds 1185: Thrift Store Scores! Zelda and Others!

I don't even think I've gotten this Zelda before believe it or not. I always found it at ridiculous prices but to find it for two bucks, I'll take it! The others were also good picks!
