Pokemon Go Style!

The second gen has been out for almost a month and things have sure changed. Not only do we get to catch all new Pokemon, but we get to style ourselves in new fancy clothing. I couldn't help it and got the Pokemon hat.
Of course, with new Pokemon, we get new region Pokemon such as Heracross here. You can only find this one in Central and South America although us Floridians were lucky enough to get them as well due to the fact that we are located in the territory in which this wonderful creature appears.

Of course, there are some additions to other monsters which takes them to another level. This is Crobat which is the evolution of Golbat.

Overall, it's another reason to go out and catch 'em all!

Pokemon Go Plus Review

So as many of you know, I'm a big fan of Pokemon Go. Well, recently, I came into this device which helps you play the game even with your phone away. So after using for about a week, I can definitely give you an overview of the plus and cons from the device.

Lets look at the good side of things:
1. Catches Pokemon- Yes, it catches Pokemon for you. You only have to press the blinking green light on the device which indicates a Pokemon is nearby. Catch 'em all! This works great especially if you are at work and can't take your phone out.
2. It tracks your steps- Yes, you can hatch eggs by doing every day things! Again, you can use this at work if possible and walk around as you are working. By break time, you got an egg hatching, that is if you walked enough.
3.Pokestops- One thing I've noticed is that you can actually go a little faster and still catch the Pokestops. I tried this while driving at around 25-30mph on my daily routine to work and believe it or not, it does get pokestops even though the limit of the speed you should be going is 20mph. It's quite helpful especially if you don't want to be on your phone while driving which you shouldn't be in the first place. Be safe!
4.Bigger Radius- I've noticed that my ability to catch Pokemon is wider with this device. It might be because how they sync so it might be moving slower which is an added bonus to be honest. I love it.

So that should do it, there are lots of good things about this device, but lets look at the cons!

1. Pokemon escape!- Sadly, there is a bigger chance that Pokemon will run away. It'll happen more than you can think of. One time, I had ten Pokemon run away back to back. This would suck especially if you look at your log and a rare one showed that it ran away.
2. Pokeballs only!- Yes, you can't use great or ultra balls which is really bad as if you ran out of Pokeballs, you won't be able to catch more Pokemon. I usually head to my work shift with at least 100-125 Pokeballs because they go fast!
3. Sync- The device syncs really easily but it was made to be disconnected after an hour or so of use which really sucks. You just have to keep checking your phone.
4. Suffers with bad connection- If your device is connected to a crappy wifi or reception area, you will have to sync your device more often. I guess it's affected by it.
5. Battery- The battery is not rechargeable which really sucks because the battery of this device can run out fast especially with constant use. A rechargeable device would have been quite helpful.

Overall, I recommend this for people that can't be on their phones like at work or school. You never know what you might catch. It's a very helpful device. I see it being most helpful when hatching eggs. Believe me, you'll love it!

New Pokemon Go Update has People Nicknaming Their Pokemon "Dick" A Lot!

A new Pokemon update surfaced earlier this week that had everyone laughing till the joke lost its taste. Apparently, now you can appraise your Pokemon by your leader. If the Pokemon has a nickname well, just look at the photo below...

There you have it! Of course, you can do it with a weak Pokemon to get the small dick joke! It got so used up that it's now stupid if anyone even posts about it on the web. It's a joke that's died awfully fast. Anyways, there was also a fix of the HP meter when fainting and that's that. That's the Pokemon fix for this week~!

Pokemon Go Hub Releases Spawn Rate Chart!

This is a very interesting chart by Pokemon HUB which took info from 100 million data points from Poke Radar's “prediction algorithm dataset.” . This information all turned out a chart with different percentages and times in which each Pokemon will appear. All in all, is a very interesting chart that could help you find the missing Pokemon in your Pokedex. Of course, Pokemon like the legendaries and Ditto aren't there yet since they can't be obtained in the game but the rest of them are there. Be sure to check out the chart here and find out the percentage of spawn for a Pokemon you are on the look out for. Incredibly, Pidgeys are more common than Rattatas and Pokemon like Charizard are very rare to find! This explains a lot!

Player Glitching the Gyms with Eggs in Pokemon Go!

So apparently a glitch has made certain gyms filled with eggs which can't be battled! This is a very interesting turn of events. According to the source, the problems have started occurring in New York and it's being done by Instinct players. I don't think the team matters as it could've been done by anyone. Overall, this is quite annoying for players playing the game fair. The spoofing and boting has to stop at some point! I've even heard of rumors where players have been boting till they reach the max levels. I'm sure that Niantec can put a stop to that. Only time will tell. In the meantime, watch out for those egg gyms!

Simone Giertz Creates the World's First Pokemon Go Helmet!

The very talented inventor Simone Giertz has done it again! She has created a Pokemon Go helmet that will keep your hands free and will let your tongue do all of the work. This gadget is more fun than useful and I gotta hand it to her, she got it all! The helmet is supposed to hold the phone in front of your face in order for you to have your hands free to do other stuff! Hmm speaking of which this could be great for watching porn while your hands get busy.... Now, that's an idea right there! Either way, I left the video below so you can see her comical uses for the helmet. You rock Simone Giertz! Keep inventing!

Pokemon Go Update August 10th is not very understandable...

A quick update came out for the game and it definitely doesn't say much. The update had one of the new updates being -no text fixes- which doesn't explain much. Do they mean no text fixes done? No text, fixes? A little overview of it would've been nice. I'll search the web to find more info about it.
At least it has some stability improvements!

Pokemon Go Egg Hatching Chart~!

With all the Pokemon Go craziness going on, every tip given to me helps! This is a chart by IGN does gives some interesting info about the different egg types although I believe that you can only hatch certain Pokemon such as Farfetch'd , Mr Mime, Taurus, and Kangaskhan which belong to different regions of the world. Of course, we got Tauros but I have yet to see other people with Pokemon from other regions. I'll definitely keep hatching eggs in order to find the truth! For now, be sure to use this guide of egg hatching to your liking. Happy hunting!

Pokemon Go Beta Tracking!

This is the tracking system certain beta testers have been given to test out. I'm not even sure what to think of it. I mean, if it has photos of the places the Pokemon are hanging out at then wouldn't that make the servers overload somewhat? Think of it like this, it already takes quite a bit to load Pokestops and that's just one place at a time. I'm sure they'll work things out somewhat, besides it's still in beta and these are ideas being thrown out into the game. The Pokemon fled screen will at least tell you when you can stop walking around in circles like a dingus looking for a certain Pokemon. The last one looks like Pokevision~! These are all welcomed ideas! Niantec, please fix your issues already....

Pokemon GO Released in Peru and Latin America!

Finally, the game has been released in my native country and it's going full speed! There have been concerns about the safety of the users in the streets and that's definitely a concern due to the fact that the game has been released in a third world country. The main problem is the users following the Pokemon to areas where they're not supposed to go or just walking without being aware of their surroundings. This is a great change for all the thieves to catch 'em all cellphones! The authorities in the country have taken action which is a good turn of events but it's also kinda of disappointing that they will only take action due to an app. Don't get me wrong, it's great! But shouldn't the authorities be taking care of their citizens all the time? That's what they're getting paid for and Peru does have a horrible crime rate as it is.
There was a huge gathering on day one at Kennedy Park in the district of Miraflores. Users have been advised to go in groups and always be aware of their surroundings. Simple tips like these are helpful to everyone in every part of the world playing this game. Nevertheless, be safe trainers!

Pokemon Go August 8th Update!

A new update came out today and have been getting praise for the time being. I haven't been able to try the changes myself but will do tomorrow after work. The game apparently has made changes in the tracking as well as the rates for catching Pokemon. The Experience for a "nice", "great", and "excellent" throws are back and there are other interesting additions. Here is the full note of the updates:

  • Added a dialog to remind Trainers that they should not play while traveling above a certain speed. Trainers must confirm they are not driving in order to continue playing
  • Made improvements to the accuracy of a curveball throw
  • Fixed a bug that prevented ”Nice,” ”Great,” and “Excellent” Poké Ball throws from awarding the appropriate experience bonuses
  • Fixed achievements showing incorrect Medal icons
  • Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time, so please choose your new nickname wisely
  • Resolved issues with the battery saver mode and re-enabled this feature
  • Added visuals of Team leaders – Candela, Blanche and Spark
  • We’re currently testing a variation of the “Nearby Pokémon” feature with a subset of users. During this period you may see some variation in the nearby Pokémon UI.
  • Minor text fixes

Pokemon Go banned by Iranian authorities over 'security'

It was only a matter of time for a country to ban this game especially when it's about a nation that's very strict on every aspect even your life. Nevertheless, the game has been banned in Iran due to the fact that it causes 'security concerns'. This is the first country to ever do such a thing to a wonderful game but hey, you can't expect everyone to love this game which makes you go out to the world and explore it. Nevertheless, we gotta respect their decision. I just feel bad for all the Iranian people that won't be able to play this game!

Pokemon Go Update 0.31.0 is Not a Good One...

With the latest update to Pokemon Go, things have taken a turn to the less likely to say the least. The update does some things such as update the medals, changes animation at gyms, and bug fixes. One major change is the tracking method which is gone altogether. Now that's just horrible, as one of the fun things about the game was to track down Pokemon that were near by. Now we have no idea where they are! Worst of all, the only alternative to track them down Pokevision was taken down by Niantec! How are we supposed to catch the Pokemon now? Walk in circles and hope to get lucky? What is going on with this game? All I can say is that I'm going to be playing it a lot less thanks to this.  Either Niantec needs to make it right, or it's going to get people pissed and no one will come back to play it. Fix the tracking! That's all you gotta do! Here is a list of the changes of this new update which is out for Android and IOS:
  • Avatars can now be re-customized from the Trainer profile screen
  • Adjusted battle move damage values for some Pokémon
  • Refined certain Gym animations
  • Improved memory issues
  • Removed footprints of nearby Pokémon
  • Modified battle damage calculation
  • Various bug fixes during wild Pokémon encounter
  • Updated Pokémon details screen
  • Updated achievement medal images
  • Fixed issues with displaying certain map features
  • Minor text fixes

Pokemon Go Balancing Attacks!

There was a little update to the moves of certain Pokemon today. Niantec decided to change the moves to balance the monsters. Many of you who play Pokemon Go might have noticed them by now. The most noticeable would have to be Vaporeon's base attack that went from 10 to 6. It does make sense as the Pokemon was being a little overpowered and was the choice from all three of the current Eevee evolutions. There are other moves that were adjusted as well including some for normal type monsters. All in all, I'm alright with all of this and you should be too since it won't make the game broken, at least anytime soon...
