Finds 624: Garage Sale Epic Haul! Dragon Warrior 4, Persona 2, Zelda Oracle of Seasons, Bucky O Hare, Final Fantasy 7, and More!

This one was one of the best hauls of the month! Not only were they garage sale loot, but they were RPGs for the most part. It's always great when you find stuff like this. You can only hope to keep it up. The only games I'm keeping from this haul is Bucky O Hare and Persona 2. Speaking of Persona, with this entry to my collection, I have officially all the Personas ever released! It's a great milestone!!! VIVA PERSONA!!!!

Retro-bit of the day 263: Final Fantasy (FC)

The one that started it all! Final Fantasy for the Famicom is definitely a memorable game. Do any of you actually beat this game? Let me give you a hint! After you defeat the fourth boss you'll be transported to the final dungeon without being able to save or heal so that means you have to finish the final dungeon in one shot! This is a tough test but I was able to complete it years ago. Care to take the challenge? It's a very memorable and rewarding ending!

Finds 521: Awesome Pokeitems! And then some! Pokemon Pikachu 2!

 A new haul from the flea market is here. There is a little bit of everything here especially involving Pokemon. The Gameboy as you can see is one odd cookie! Be sure to check out the rest items of this haul!

 This is probably my favorite acquisition from this hunt. Pokemon Pikachu 2 handheld which I took on my trip!

Finds 518: Controller Haul! Final Fantasy 9 is Complete!

 Here are some pick ups from yesterday. They were both from the flea market and thrift store. The sport titles you see are getting used to create better more fun games! Should I explain more? Nah! I also picked up some Playstation controllers for a buddy of mine and some Ascii SNES controllers. I picked up four Gijoe action figures, they were the Cobra soldiers and what not, totally kewl. They are the newer versions but whatever, they look kewl enough so they made the cut. There is also a GBA SP which are always handy, that's about it. Something interesting about the copy of Final Fantasy 9 below!

So at the thrift store I found this copy of Final Fantasy 9 which came with three discs. To my surprise, the disc that was missing was none other than disc 3 which is funny because I found a disc 3 of Final Fantasy 9 last weekend at the flea market. Things like these makes you think, are the video gaming gods watching over you and blessing you with a path to triumph? lol! Maybe that's a little too deep but I was able to complete the four disc set nonetheless! It's a lesson for everyone, always pick up fragments of a game as you might be able to complete them sooner or later! Until next time ^_^

Finds 514: Slim Pickings...SNES SN Programmable Joystick, Phix, Mario Sunshine, and Others

Here are some of my recent finds. There is nothing exciting except for that joystick which I tried out and works amazingly well especially with beat'em up games! It was a totally awesome find for sure. I also got some other bits of stuff like Phix for the PS1, disc 3 of Final Fantasy 9, Online PS2 disc, Quake 2 for PS1, and an empty Super Mario Sunshine case. Retro-bit of the day 119: Xenogears (PS1)

This game is quite good and pricey. I couldn't believe it! Definitely stuff by Squaresoft is quite good unlike most of the stuff released by them nowadays. Not to bash on them, but I think it was better when they had Enix as a rival. Anyways, this is an RPG with some ingenious gameplay style. Be sure to check it out.

Finds 511: Castle of Deceit and a Gallore of Gaming Goodness!

 Here are my hauls from my last hunt to the flea market. There is a lot of love! Lets check it out!

Here are some interesting items. The Wizard on DVD is finally mine! I normally don't buy DVDs but when they are based on video games, I have to have them! There are also two guides for two awesome RPG games which are Chrono Cross and Saga Frontier. The Atari 2600 I'm not even sure why I bought it. It's just taking up space.... bleh

I got one of these to fix my CDs and DVDs! I can't say enough of how much I missed having one of these. I also picked up those two action figures for my set.

Here is a whole line up of gaming goodness. I picked all of these for 20 bucks! Yeah, there is a little bit of everything including Grandia 2, Sonic Adventure, and Sword of Bezerk. Too many games to mention...Oh yeah, there is also that Xbox 360 camera I picked up for a mere three dollars.

Here are some Genesis games that are going to be sacrificed to make something amazing out of them well except the Sonic Workshop game and the Batman and Robin game, those I'm keeping. I got them all for 20 bucks while the PS2 Network adapter was five bucks and the memory card for the cube was two bucks.

Finally, here is the best find of the hunt. I picked up Castle of Deceit for a mere five bucks without knowing how valuable it really is. I always pick up pirate/unlicensed stuff so this time around, it came in handy! I also picked up Ghoul School and Maniac Mansion for five bucks a piece. These finds made my day! It was a successful hunt after all.
