Finds 1466: Freedom Finger and Demons Tear

Two new Limited Run Games arrivals. Freedom Finger is a hilarious shoot 'em up that definitely doesn't take itself serious. You should check it out. Demons Tear is also another great addition. Will I ever be able to play and finish these games? That just feels impossible with all the work and adulting I have to do nowadays.

Finds 1464: HP Pavilion 8400 Revival!

There is nothing like giving life to old hardware. This is one of the things I enjoy the most. I went to a thrift store around two weeks ago and stumble upon this computer. I did asked the seller how much, he said 30 bucks and I was iffy about it. I offered 20 but he refused so I left. After a couple of days of thinking about it, I came back, and checked to see if it was still there. Shockingly it still was there! I picked it up and paid the 30 bucks and was on my way. One thing I did prior to getting this computer was to check any information online. Sad to say, there was barely anything online about it. It would make the search of drivers a lot tougher but with the help of my nerdy friends, I was able to get it.

This is the tower! This is an HP Pavillion 8400E with a Pentium 2 450mhz, 12 gb of HD, 128mb of ram, and usually comes with Windows 98 but this one had XP. I'm not a big fan of older computers from this era having XP, so the downgrade was crucial. The computer also came with a sound blaster sound card which was a big plus. I decided to erase everything and installed a fresh copy of Windows 98se. I reinstalled all the drivers and everything worked flawlessly. I did added one more little card for it. Check below to see what it was!

Yes, this is Windows 98se screen! Looks beautiful!

All the specs of this computer.

One final touch was to install this voodoo 3 16mb AGP card! I found this around five months ago on a garage sale for a couple of bucks and decided to test it out on this computer. It works flawlessly.

These are the sound drivers installed. I love when everything is functional which reminds me that I have to go to previous computers to install some missing drivers.

E-zine is coming back!

So back in 2017, I had an E-zine that unfortunately I had to abandon even though I kept working on it bits by bits, I wasn’t able to really get back into it which is a shame. With some much to do, I always put it aside but guess what? It’s something I can’t put aside anymore. It will not only help me develop more skills, but it’s something I owe my younger self that I would do one day. Believe it or not, I will be working on it to make up for all the previous issues that I have missed. I won’t let this die! Of course, it’ll become something more shortened depending on how much time I get to work on it. I will do my research and improve my skills. I can’t let something like this get the best of me. You will be seeing updates in the next months on these. I promise you that! Game on!

I also got Doom 64 for the Switch from Limited Run Games, and Milon's Secret Castle for the Gameboy. LOOT!

Finds 1461: Ultra Street Fighter 2 for Switch

Here is a pick up from Offer Up. I paid 30 bucks for it, but I needed my Street Fighter fix on a new console. Overall, it's a good game and I already finished it, and it's the harder to find for some reason. I highly suggest you pick this up!

Pac-Man 99 has been released! Perfect for Competitive Retro Gamers!

So if you haven't heard, Pac-man 99 has been released on the Switch for members of the online service. This game comes a little bit after Super Mario 35 was taken out of the online service. So this one plays similar to the previous games we have seen such as Tetris 99 and Super Mario 35 which I just mentioned. The game puts you against other players in which you send attacks to each other in hopes you lose. The trick of this game is to keep moving and eating the big pellets as you can make some amazing  combos. Be sure to eat all the little ghosts to create the longest ghost train ever. The more you attack, the faster your enemies will demise. It's a fun little game that has awesome replay value and it's just so amazing for retro gamers playing new consoles nowadays. Check it out!

Finds 1460: PC Software and Classic Casette Tapes

Here is some awesome PC software and games! I also found these cassette tapes that look very cool especially because they are brand new. I will probably get into the cassette world in the near future. I know Commodore 64 uses cassettes for their programs so these might be helpful! LOOT!

Finds 1459: Super Shot Soccer, Red Dead Redemption 2, and GTA 5

Here are some newer loot! Even though I don't have an Xbox One, I picked these up just because they're good titles. The PS1 is actually really awesome and one I've never seen before. It's really odd to see stuff like that in the wild nowadays. Overall, I'm happy with these pick ups especially because of the prices.

Castlevania Resurrection, the long lost Dreamcast Game has been Found!

A long lost game for the Dreamcast has been found. It's pretty awesome that we keep finding lost treasures so who knows where the rest of them are. Anyways, there is not much information about this prototype, but the video on Youtube shows some gameplay of the game. The owner of this prototype has placed the disc on eBay for one lucky collector with big pockets to own. Now, even though requests to copy the game has been put for obvious reasons, nothing has been done. This makes me wonder if the owner of this game will make a copy before they send it out to the winner of the auction. Not only is that troublesome, but it would make the prototype a little less valuable, after all, it's a one of a kind item! I posted a link of the video down below!
