Finds 1496: Megacon Pick Ups 1!

I recently went to Megacon 2021 and decided to look for some amazing loot! I got some really weird pick ups on my first day and here they are. The NES bootleg was one that I don’t have and had to pick it up. I had to be quick about it because someone had it in their hand but put it down. The deal with these was buy 2 for 15 each and get one free. 30 bucks for 3 games comes out to 10 a game and that seems fair to me. I also got a Peach Boy PC Engine game which I would need a dictionary to get through and Goemon 4 for the Super Famicom which is a side scroller game. The seller also gave me this manual for Tennis for the Famicom Disk System for free which was really nice of him. I have more loot to show!

Finds 1404: Gotzendiener, Minecraft, and Other Goodies!

Lots of awesome goodies are here! The big lot of games on the right are actually gifts as well as the Genesis game. Overall, I'm happy and blessed to get this stuff for nothing. I will be sending a big chunk to another collector friend, that's how we help each other! So. Minecraft and the PS2 titles were found in the thrift store as well as the Pokemon DVD which contains the final episodes of the Orange Island arc which is really cool as it involves Ash finally getting respect from Charizard and the Orange Island final! Gotta love it! Last but not least, Gotzendiener is a really cool isometric game which takes a little knowledge of Japanese to get through it but there are lots of guides out there so why not? Here is an odd trio. Super Turtles VI is just bootleg TMNT 2 game, Back to the Future II for the Sega Master System is another pain in the ass Back to the Future game, and Body Conquest II is another Hentai type game for the PC Engine. I suggest you try this one out of all of them, you pervert!

Finds 1243: PCE Works Best of Japan

I have to say, I love PCE Works as they offer brand new CD releases of games we missed out for the PC Engine and Turbo Grafx CD. Not only that, they play great and come with lots of extras. I have been working on getting more boxsets of these gems as they are quite worth it. I don't think you want to spend thousands on these games! I can't wait for more of these! Of course, this one brings the best of Japan which comes with four games that are unique to the Japanese console. Not only that, they threw in a Bonk's Adventure in CD! Gotta love extras!

Finds 1242: Valkyrie and Alice for PC Engine!

Two very playable games arrived for the PC Engine. They are both sidescrollers and are really rad. Definitely check out Alice as it's an odd one but plays quite well. The musical score is quite good and definitely keeps you entertained. Valkyrie is a classic game for the PC Engine and just has the solid side scrolling action you desire. Both are worthy pick ups!

Finds 1237: Shockwave 2, Pelado, and Efera

Here are three new additions I got at the local game shoppe! Shockwave 2 just has an amazing cover and it's a decent game for the 3DO. The PC engine game with the bald guy I just call Pelado because I forgot its original name and Fera is a pretty cool RPG. These are solids additions to my collection.

Finds 1232: Golden Axe for Master System, Night Striker, and Blood Gear

Here are three new titles for the collection. Lets start off with Golden Axe! It's a very bad port of the arcade classic but well, you know, I love the Sega Master System so I had to have it!  Here is a pic of it!

You can only play as one character and the animation is choppy. I still believe it has a charm, a Sega Master System charm. The next game on the list is Night Striker which is a pretty cool racing game. It is also one of the more cheaper ones so totally worth picking it up. Cheap and good always equals to good.

Finally, I already mentioned this game Blood Gear but it's totally worth another look. This one is definitely worth a playthrough if you have a PC Engine. Import it now!

Finds 1225: Blood Gear, Devil World, Ishido, and Xybots

Here are some pick ups that are totally worth mentioning. Lets start with the box art. My favorite one is the Devil World art for the Famicom. It's just beautiful! I really love the detail of these box arts as they definitely shows how hard and thoughtful they were during that era of gaming. So the new additions are Devil World, Ishido, Xybots, and Blood Gear for their respective consoles. I usually don't get many Lynx games as I don't have a Lynx myself but the art was just too good to not pick them up.

Kikikaikai for the PC Engine is a very hard game, reminds me a lot of the SNES version just not as expensive even though it's still kinda expensive. Gunvolt Striker Pack is a set of two games in one. i thought it was very appealing and hey two for the price of one.

Now that I have a PC Engine with CD I can play all these games that came out for it. There are tons of them so I will be adding them little by little to the collection especially some of my favorite ones like Gradius 2. I played this one for the Famicom and totally loved it! This version is just as good except with a more arcade feel and CD quality music of course.

Finds 1205: Dracula X PCE Works, Psikyo Vol 2, and Others

More Limited Run releases as well as Mercs for the Sega Master System. I think Mercs is a decent port although I've played the Genesis version which is superior. Psikyo Volume 2 puts another set of wonderful games into the Switch. Finally, PCE Works released a very special edition of Dracula X for the PC Engine/ Turbo Grafx CD with both Japanese and English version of the game as well as some extras!

Finds 1203: Prince of Persia for Turbografx and Super System Card

Here is a pretty awesome game with a hilarious cut-scene. Prince of Persia is a classic game that introduced a very precise type of gameplay which made it extremely replayable. Of course, it needed the Super System Card in order to play on the console. It's one of the many additions that are coming in the future.

Finds 1202: Enter PC Engine Duo, an Exquisite Console!

I finally got this console. It's one that I've been wanting for a long time. This is the PC Engine Duo and one of the best features of it was that it was modded to play Turbografx cards. It also plays Turbografx CD games without the need for a region lock. This is an all in one console! I have lots of games coming and I already got some goodies coming. This is another step in having a decent collection.
