Finds 1588: Spyro, Microsoft Baseball, and Trash Pack

Nothing major even though I already have a copy of Spyro, I always get it so I can either trade or sell at some point. You gotta get games to get more games. I also got an interesting Microsoft Baseball CD and Trash Pack for the 3DS which I only got because of the cover art, it's interesting.

Finds 1587: Sony Trinitron KV-1365

A trip to the thrift store turned to be into a wonderful finding. This is the Sony Trinitron KV-1365 released in 1985, the tiny 13" tv comes with sharp picture and it's great for retro gaming including commodore and atari computers. It's a little wonder to look at as the aesthetics are just beautiful. It has the 80s feel that is unmatched. I got it for ten bucks believe it or not and made room for it in my office. It will be the one playing my NES or Atari 7800. It has a wonderful new home here in my headquarters.

Finds 1586: SNES Repros and Seek Hearts!

Here are a couple of repros for the SNES that recently arrived. The games are a Shin Mega Tensei game and River City Ransom 2. I always wanted to get English versions of these games and I'm happy to have them. Also, a Limited Run Games arrival in Seek Hearts.

Finds 1585: PSP Additions! Ape Escape on the Loose, Monopoly, and Pac-Mania

Here are some recent additions. I am always happy to run into PSP games and these were really cool. I am especially excited for Ape Escape on the Loose which apparently is a remake of the first game for the original Playstation. I also got a few others that I don't know much about as well as Pac-Mania and Monopoly for the Master System. Happy to have all these awesome new games.

Finds 1584: NECA and Super 7 TMNT Additions

It's TMNT time once again! We got some new additions including Mondo Gecko, Muckman, and Mutagen Man. As you can see, two are from the NECA line while the other one is from the Super 7 line. Yes, I am collecting both lines which is really difficult because these toys aren't cheap! Totally worth it though!

Super Mario World for the NES added to the shoppe!

That's right, I was finally able to bring this out! The game is a lot of fun and plays great! Be sure to check out the shoppe by clicking here or click on the shop tab on the top of the screen.

The label came out really well, one of my favorite works!
Here are some screens of the game just in case you aren't familiar with it.

Cassette Drawers are good for Famicom and Genesis Games!

If you ever run into these, definitely pick them up as they make a great storage case for either your Famicom or Genesis carts. They are just so useful! I ended up posting this on social media and some of my friends messaged me about it, it kind of blew their mind. Anyways, this is friendly reminder of what to do with old things you might find for nothing. Protect your collection!

Finds 1583: The Catwoman from Channel 6 NECA TMNT Set!

This is finally here! It was quite tricky how I got it here. It was sold out in the US so I had to have family from Canada buy it for me and then ship it here. I wasn't going to go looking around Targeys for it, sorry that's just too much work. I finally have my Irma as she's bae! The set is really cool and can't wait to put it all together. It also brought a lot of goodies. I don't know when I'm going to open it or where is it gonna go but will definitely keep you updated!

Finds 1582: Pacman & Ms Pacman Plus Others!

Today was a very interesting day at the thrift store. I went in after a rough day of errands and a lot of stress and found myself with some goodies. The stuff on the left was definitely some stuff I don't have but also stuff I'm putting to the side for when Gamestop offers that extra trade in bonus so that'll help me get more games in the long run. I was also shocked to see some NES CIB games for once! It's been a while since I ran into CIB NES games in the wild so I was surprised to see them. The prices weren't that crazy too so that made me even more happy. I usually find stuff that's too overpriced but these were fairly priced. I am a huge Pac-Man fan so these were no brainers. Definitely going to fire them up for some awesome fun.

Finds 1581: A Goodwill Find? Japanese Ps1 Controller!

I drove by a Goodwill on my way home from work and actually found something. I don't really hold my breath when going here for something good but today was the exception. I found an import Playstation controller that is in shape of a boomerang! It's really cool and definitely one of the controllers from the early days of the PS1 as it's missing the analog sticks which were added later on. It was a really cool find overall, I am satisfied.

Finds 1580: It's a lot of loot! Hard Drives and PC Software, PS2, and Xbox!

Nothing crazy but finding stuff as usual. I was able to pick up a lot of PS2 titles that I don't really have in my collection yet. Also, I got a thing for picking up hard drive hoping to find some interesting material such as vintage hentai. It's always a wonder what will come on them so I will start picking them up. As for the PS2 games, I got some really cool ones that believe it or not, I didn't had! After so many years of doing this, I can't believe I'm missing stuff but that's all part of collecting.

Finds 1579: Quark XPress for Windows

One of the more interesting finds in computer related software is this Brand New Quark XPress software. What's Quark XPress? Well, this software was used a lot in the development of newspapers and magazines back in the early 90s. I believe this is before the adobe times so a lot of companies used this on their computers to release periodicals. It's really cool but I have heard that the software can be a pain in the ass to use. I'm keeping this beauty sealed as I can easily download it online. It's just great finding these kind of pieces that can live on in a collection. I placed it on my book shelf to hang out with other boxed software such as Gateworld and Castle of the Winds.

The interesting thing is that this is the Windows version so I believe it's more rare than the MAC version. This is really something else.

All in One Playstation Memory Card

Remember when we used to have our entire lives on a memory card? I sure do. Having those 15 blocks to save your games was something exciting and fun. Not only that, it was precious to us as all of our hard earned work was saved into this little accessory. I still have my other memory cards somewhere put away. As I pick this one up, I wonder what games it contains.... I will keep you updated!

Finds 1578: Weekend Pick Ups! Windows 7 Pro, Dexxa Control Pad, Atari Flashback, and Arcade Legends

A very odd day where I had to go to different thrift stores to actually find something interesting turned out into a couple of interesting things. I don't usually go for plug n play consoles but I did a little research on these and thought these would be worth it especially since they were half off. One is the Atari Flashback 7800 which I thought had 7800 games but turned out that that's just the same of the model. It's kind of misleading but it's still a really cool little console. The other one is the Arcade Legends which comes with 50 built in games. The really cool thing about this one is that it has an SD card slot to upgrade the firmware which then enables you to play even more games including the entire Sega Genesis library. I have seen that the update makes other consoles playable as well so if you ever run into this little console, definitely check it out as it's totally worth a pick up. The controller I got CIB is called the Dexxa Control Pad and was made for IBM Computers. I always love picking these up even though they may not be the best options. A lot of times, you are just better off with the classic Gravis Ultrapad. It will make a really cool display piece. I also ended up getting some software including a Casino Game Pack for older OS such as Windows 3.11 and 95 as well as an installation disk for Windows 7 pro which I thought was really cool. Overall, random little things that make hunting a worthwhile time.

Finds 1577: TMNT Ultimates Wave 4 is Finally Here! They are beautiful!

These beauties finally arrived and you know what? I'm really loving this line more and more as I get more of them. I am definitely getting each release as they are just so freaking amazing. The one that I won't be getting is probably the party wagon because it's out of my price range. Maybe if I have enough money for it, I will get it in the end. So far, no! Anyways, we have Casey Jones, Donatello, Muckman, and Mondo Gecko this time around. My favorite turtle Don is finally here to finish up the four turtles! Each of these just look amazing and the work this company is doing is just splendid! I look forward to all the new releases and the mousers which I already pre-ordered! Such beauty I tell ya! Below are more photos of the wave 4.

The nerdy turtle Donatello! He's so fucking amazing!

Muckman is a big fella!

The always popular Casey Jones!

Mondo Gecko is so freaking cool!

Finds 1576: Xbox goodies & Two Mystery Hard Drives!

I visited the thrift store earlier this week and picked up a couple of things. The hard drives are really cool because one of them is 2TB while the other one is 750gb which is still pretty decent. I do regret not picking up the rest of the hard drives but there will be other chances. I am curious what the hard drives might come with, hopefully vintage hentai! That's the quest! Anyways, check out the loot! It's no the best, but it's great!

Finds 1575: Limited Run Arrivals! Dangun Feveron and Doom Classics Collection

A shoot 'em up and a FPS, what a combination. These two came at the same time and I gotta say, they are really cool. I have been a fan of Doom since the DOS days so having this release is a must for any fan and it's for the Switch! The other one is one of those crazy shoot 'em up games in which you must do everything in your power to survive. Two very unique titles added to the collection.

Finds 1574: Súper Mario Bros 3 German Edition CIB

The first pick up of the year! It's Súper Mario Bros 3 German Edition for the NES. I stumbled upon it on eBay and had to pick it up. The price was right and it was just very odd to see a green boxed Súper Mario Bros 3. I still don't know much about it other than it was released in Germany. Below is another photo of this wonderful gem.

As you can see, the cart has something engraved on it and the manual is in German. I will probably do a Manual Monday post of this manual in the near future as there is very little information about this. If you know anything, let me know!

In some interesting news, it has come to my attention that the story of Doom takes place this year. I guess we all better gear up to fight demons and survive the apocalypse! It's funny to see these kind of things so thought I would share this on here. Be safe out there!
