Trip to Orlando's Islands of Adventure: Aftermath

So just wanted to post some photos of my past weekend of fun! It was so amazing especially because I spent it with the most wonderful person in the world, my girlfriend :p. We had a blast and then some ^_^ Check out the photos!!

Just like in the movie they had the park center where you could eat and buy souvenirs.

The Jurassic Park was actually quite interesting as they had a lot of information about dinosaurs and other stuff.
Here they had some eggs! Could they hatch? Not likely! There was a machine that you would place an egg in and scan it to learn information on which species it was. That thing worked only half the time though lol...
This was the most popular area. It's a no brainer that the Harry Potter island was the most popular of course. You saw kids running around pretending to be wizards and what not. There were some shoppes were they would sell you everything a wizard would need to practice magic even a wand! Really pricey stuff as usual.

I like the atmosphere here as we never get snow in Florida! It's always nice to dream...

As you can see, the town looks awesome!!! There was a restaurant and stores everywhere!
We also passed by the weirdo of Seuss!
And this I really liked! The ride was lame as it broke down in the middle of it!! It was so hilarious as everyone started criticizing the actor who ran away! It was also the first ride me and the girlfriend went to so we were so disappointed!
So here is Marvel Super Heroes Island! It was probably one of my favorite islands! Us being the dorks we are had to check it out thoroughly.
I found out this dude's name is Modok! He doesn't look like he is having a good time :p
and some other heroes on there that should need no introduction. We ended up going on the Spiderman ride which kicked ass!! We both got nerdgasms!

I can go on and on with more photos but will leave it at that. I hope all of you enjoyed the photos! Of course, even on vacation a retro game hunter never sleeps so will be showcasing some odd finds during my weekend getaway. Until next time!
