After taking a break from playing due to my trip to Orlando I'm back with some input on games I've been playing lately. It's not much but there is something for everyone to enjoy.
So I went through my second attempt to beat Dracula X and man is this game tough. I got to level 6 and couldn't go any longer. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't get through it just that I had to go to work. I should leave this game to a day I have off which is actually tomorrow. I did play through it for two hours. It should look pretty good on my new TV :p
I bought Balloon Kid for my 3DS and have enjoyed it quite a bit. This game actually has a story which is kinda of silly. For some reason your kid flies away with a bunch of balloons and you (Mom) Have to go and find your little runt. At first, the game is quite easy but after a couple of stages it starts to challenge you. I gotta thank the 3DS feature to save your progress or should I say freeze the game where you left off.
The game contains boss fights as well which do require some strategy. There are some bosses that require you to let yourself go off your balloons and jump on it then back to your balloons. I know it sounds scary but it can be done!
These little guys are back in the game. They don't appear till later stages but I'm sure you won't miss them when they appear. They do make their signature sound too. I'm on stage six so might be able to complete the game soon. I shall bring updates for sure!~

And I'm still working on Adventure Island. I was playing it through the ride back from Orlando but for some reason the game froze in the next to final island. Total bummer! I will go back to it and finish it off once and for all! I promise!

Glad to hear you're liking Balloon Kid. I like that one quite a bit myself -- pretty fun and very unique. I'd love for Nintendo to make an update someday. As for Adventure Island: Is that a GameBoy version??
Oh yeah I love it! Balloon Kid kicks ass!!! A remake of some sort combining the retro look with a fresh new atmosphere would be awesome! And yes, it's the first Adventure Island for the Gameboy which is actually Adventure Island 2 for the NES. Pretty weird huh?
