So after taking a long break and what not, I'm back to my hunting ways. This time around, I got more than enough to make my day complete! Check out these awesome findings!
I was able to pick up a bunch of NES games for two dollars each. They are pretty good titles for resale as well as for fun. I actually went to the thrift store with little hopes of finding something so it really made my day when I walked to the the counter and saw a whole two stacks of NES games. I did saw a couple of games that I recognized even from far away like the Super Mario Bros 3 games. The golden cart which ended up being a Zelda 2 did gave me a good vibe. Imagine if it would've been a NWC Gold! One of these days!
Here is the other batch of games. The ace in the entire NES lot is obviously the Ultima game. I checked out the value of it and it turned out that it's worth over 30 dollars! I didn't even know that, I mainly picked it up because it was a game I haven't had in my collection. That's where it's staying anyways!
Before I came across the NES games I was looking at their CD sections and came up with these two games. One of them is a compilation of 100 shareware games for old Windows OS which I love to pick up every time I see them. I will probably get around to try it with my retro laptop (No the mac powerbook but another laptop I have with Windows 98 :p). The other game is Sonic CD which will also be tested in my retro laptop. It's going to be awesome for sure!! I did saw Jazz Jackrabbit 2 on the cover of the Shareware CD so it really caught my attention once I saw it!
Finally, this wasn't in the photo mainly because I was charging it to see if it worked. I took a chance and bought a non working Gameboy SP for 7 dollars and ended up with a positive result. After charging it for a couple of minutes, I gave it a go and it works flawlessly. I don't need another SP but I figure I could make some money out of it ^_^
So that's about it, with December and the holidays around the corner I'm going to have to cool down but will keep on hunting every chance I get. It has been a very crazy month with lots of amazing finds and it's not over yet! Till next time!
