So here is this week's pick. The game is quite interesting and challenging at times. With different modes of play, it's a must have for your handheld collection!
The music for this game is very good which is no surprise as Street Fighter games are usually known for their awesome soundscore. There were some sound effects that were taken out to be able to port it although I think they could've still been left in there but I guess developers got lazy.
The graphics are totally what they are supposed to look like. The game has all of your favorite Alpha characters and then some. The stages are filled and as lively as the ones from the Arcade. You won't see much missing and everything looks good from the distance!
The gameplay lacks a little due to the fact that you only have four buttons for a six button game. There are different ways you can edit the controls but I suggest you get rid of the weak punch and kick and only use medium and hard for maximum damage. Other than that, a very responsive d-pad helps in such wild battles.
The game is worth a playthrough with each of the characters! You want to see all the endings? Well master them all! It's such an enjoyable game and even though some of the stories may be repetitive and cliche, you'll find enough to keep you going. After all, can't really continue playing with the same character after you reached their ending.
The game is worth a pick up and will be useful to carry around due to its great replay value. It's a fighter after all so you'll want to let your rage out in such games. The price also makes it quite affordable so don't let it get away! Till next week!
