It's Thursday and I decided to make a trip to the flea market. I was able to find lots of interesting items and new additions to my collection. Lets see what I found...
I got all of these games for seven dollars. Asterix is actually from another country, not sure where but the game is really good nonetheless. The Street Fighter II was a very good attempt at a portable fighter although it's quite easy to play. If you use Ryu's fireball, you'll hit them almost every time so you can tell that even the computer is having problems with the controls.
This was a very odd purchase. I asked the vendor how much the controllers were and she said five bucks but then she picked them up with the cube and said give me ten bucks for it and I was like waa? Apparently she didn't know that they weren't the right controllers so I explained it to her but I don't think she understood me. I bought it anyways and the Pokemon yellow was thrown in for free.
I picked up this Mega Man action figure for a dollar. It's quite big and kewl looking ^_^
I picked up Wortris complete in a box for the SNES for two dollars. I can't say no to all these boxed games I never seen before. This game might actually be interesting.
I finally got one of these. The Super Advantage is an arcade like stick to use in your SNES. The dude was asking ten dollars but after some talking I got him down to five. The controller is in great shape. I'm going to need to plug the SNES sometime and play some Final Fight or fighting game on it.
I picked up the Pokemon comic book for .50 cents while the Pokedex guide was two bucks. Gotta level up my Pokemon knowledge.
Here are various PS1 titles. Crash and Crash Warped were five bucks together while the Croc 2 was a dollar and Metal Gear Solid was two dollars. All great games I must say.
Finally, I forgot about this find which is why it's not on the main finds picture. The story with this Gameboy is that the vendor said it didn't worked. I asked her if she was still selling it since it was on the table anyways....she said "Yeah, give me a dollar for it" And I did. I tried it out at home and guess what? It works! Not sure what she meant but everything works great including the sound and contrast! I used to have one of these back in the day and I'm glad to have another one. This is my favorite Gameboy from the colored series.
A couple of extra items that I purchased in my visit to a Play n Trade which is real close to the Flea Market. I know what I'm doing after my flea market trips now. This Play n Trade had lots of interesting games including a boxed Breath of Fire 2 and Lufia. They were out of my price range but I did found these games that I picked up for reasonable prices. The Final Fantasy Chronicles was 14.99, Heart of Darkness was 12.99, Earth Worm Jim 3D was 8.09, and Bubsy 3D was 4.49. I'm definitely coming back for more stuff!
So that's it. With part two complete there is not much more left to show except a game of one of my favorite franchises of all time? Care to take a guess?
