So I got my DS Lite charger today and....

I'm happy to announce that my DS Lite works! As many of you might have seen, I picked the DS Lite at the flea market for ten dollars. The problem was that it didn't had a charger so I went on eBay and bought one. I still didn't know if it was going to work or not as I didn't have a way to try it out. Anyways, I got the charger I ordered from eBay in the mail today and gave it a go. At first, the handheld wouldn't turn on but I was guessing the battery was so drained that it needed some minutes to charge for a boot. Finally, it turned on and everything looks to be in order! I'm so happy to have a DS Lite and for such a cheap price, I can't complain! Now I have a good DS Lite to exchange my Pokemon with for my upcoming battle. I only have so little time left! AHHHH!!!!

Happy Birthday PC Engine!

Today has been twenty years of PC Engine madness! Just wanted to give a quick happy birthday wishes to such an awesome console. There are many games for this console that we will probably never forget. Although, there were some gems that didn't made it to American soil, we can now through the magical magic of the internet and eBay be able to enjoy them with no problems.

Lets of course not forget the American brother of the PC Engine which is the Turbo Grafx. I actually own one of these and I gotta say, I'm impressed by the games there are for it. Best wishes to the PC Engine. Long live the PC Engine!

Let There Be Famicom Converter!

So I heard a lot of rumors that some of the first release line of NES games come with Famicom converters. The reason for this is because they had way too many Famicom boards so Nintendo was savvy enough to use them in the USA release of some of these games. Of course, only with a little tweaking and presto! You have a NES game! Anyways, these are the test subjects that I picked out from y recent finds so lets check each one out!

Ads From The Past 184: Drakkhen (SNES)

A game about dragons was very common back in the SNES era especially involving them in any type of game. For example, you had Ryu's dragon fist or the dragoons of Final Fantasy 2. There is just something about them that makes a video game more interesting when mentioned in them. Why not check this one out? You might like it!

Im Kid Dracula Released! Thanks RetroUSB.com

So our friends at RetroUSB have released this beauty of a game. Kid Dracula for the NES can now be acquired through their site and believe it or not it's worth every penny. The perfect retro gift for Halloween and one you can enjoy playing through. Couldn't have asked for a better Halloween related release! Totally awesomeness! You can even pick a different cart color. I would personally pick the see through blue cart as it makes it look even cooler! I wouldn't let this chance pass by! Spookarific!

"I'm Kid Dracula! The Castlevania parody from Konami known in Japan as Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula-kun, has been translated to English and is now available for your Nintendo Entertainment System.

Help Kid Dracula fight his way through 9 stages of classic platform action to defend his honor and defeat the evil dinosaur Galamoth.

Earn new abilities to aid you along way, like an ice shot that freezes enemies in their tracks or the homing shot that will seek and destroy. You can even defy gravity and walk on the ceiling! Don't forget to use your charge shot that makes coins out of the enemies. The coins can be used to win 1up's in the bonus games!

Tired? I'm Kid Dracula also has a password system that lets you continue your adventure at a later time.

Much more than a reproduction, this original game cartridge is built using all new parts. No donor carts were harmed in the making of this game. "

I could never really get into these kind of games. I always found them to be so boring especially when school was already teaching you history and all. I wouldn't mind giving it a go now that my brain has matured....now where do you think this bitch is?

3DS Pic of the Week 005: Samus vs Chick

So this week have a very interesting 3DS photo. It's Samus vs some cosplay chick. I'm not sure but I think she is from the Final Fantasy series. Either way, my money is on Samus! I'm guessing the referee is that security guard in the middle? As usual, 3DS owners are welcome to click the link below so you can download the photo and view it in your handheld.

Retro Gaming News 066: Captain Tsubasa 3/ Super Campeones 3 Spanish Translation Released

"The last game in the Captain Tsubasa series that uses the original game engine. Many consider this the best game in the series, I personally prefer it over all even the PS2 installment. The entire game is playable and can be beaten with the help of this patch, the only parts left untranslated are the last few cut scenes in story mode and a few random events that occur during the final games in story mode. I do not know if the ending is translated since I never actually beat the last team. I made this patch in 2009 after two separate translators abandoned the project, they each worked on different parts of the game and without them we would not have this. In Latin America the Captain Tsubasa anime is known as “Super Campeones” (Super Champions). Special thanks to Spectrum XD and Virgo64."
