Oh, and beware, almost every emulator has trouble running this game. WinGBC seems run it with the least amount of evil flickering, so that’s why I recommended it."
"SNK Playmore is set to re-enter the hand held console market, debuting the Neo-Geo PSP look alike which comes with some classic games already pre-loaded.The original Neo-Geo Pocket, released in 1999, was perhaps the most successful of Neo Geo hardware and this new edition is set to be a re-imagining of that famous edition. While there aren't many competitors to go up against, the ones that are there - every edition of the Nintendo DS, PSP, PlayStation Vita - are extremely well established. In fact, with the next generation of home console hardware coming out in the next 24 months, this would seem like a strange time to enter the game.
Metro has a translation of the original Famicom Plaza posting, detailing some of the internal hardware. It looks like this Neo Geo remake will come with a 4.3 inch LCD display and 2GB of onboard memory. Some of that will be taken up with pre-installed classic games though, including: World Heroes, The Ultimate 11: SNK Football Championship, Top Player's Golf, Sengoku, Nam-1975, Mutation Nation, Last Resort, King Of Monsters, Frenzy, Cyber-Lip, Fatal Fury Special, The Art Of Fighting, Super Sidekicks, League Bowling, Metal Slug, Magical Lord, Baseball Stars Professional, Samurai Showdown, The King Of Fighters '94, and Fatal Fury.
For the control scheme the Neo Geo has an analogue stick, menu and start buttons and the standard four face buttons with the designations ABCD, going anti clockwise from the bottom.
That wonderful little gem, Silva Saga-II, has now been totally translated and is ready for the public. A great number of very talented folks came together to get this classic game done and out the door. Countless numbers of hours were spent working hard to deliver a game with a beautifully polished script and look.
If you’ve been missing out on that great SNES RPG nostalgia, then check out the patch and head on over to the D-D!"
"This is the sequel to my first hack Maverick Revenge for Mega Man IV. This time it’s based on Mega Man V.I am kinda done with “hacking”, since I still haven’t learned any ASM. Therefore this hack will never be more finished then it is. You can play to the last Wily stage, however you won’t get longer. Also, after the last Proto Man stage it may seem like the game has frozen, but it will go on if you just wait.
Because of that I never learned ASM I couldn’t do what I really wanted - to add Maverick instead of robot masters, therefore the confusing name. I understand it may seem weird, but that’s the explanation.
What you actually CAN do in this hack, to not confuse anyone:
- Finish all 8 robot masters
- Finish all Proto Man stages
- Finish to the last Wily stage
- Collect ALL MEGAMANV letters, yes they are there but well hidden :)
The soundtrack is also changed.
I tried to push the NES graphic-wise as much as possible, and there I think I did succeed in some ways."
