So today was a very productive day. I was able to find various new additions to my collection and another successful hunt was achieved. As you can see in this photo, we have a boxed Genesis 3 that sadly didn't came with the ac adapter. You will also see a Super Megason but wait it's not only one but two of them? What are they? Read on!
So here it's the contents! It's none other than a Super Famicom, not! It's a Famiclone with the model of a Super Famicom. Isn't that neat? As you can see it comes with Super Famicom look-alike controllers and a gun that looks a lot like the NES Zapper (Gray one of course). I wish I could tell you I had tried it out but there is a problem....
The photo looked better in the tiny screen the camera withholds so this will do. The ac adapter is for the PAL region so I'll have to get a NTSC one even though I don't know if that'll work. I guess we'll find out and see!
Here is the horrid manual with incorrect English....should I say more? Also, I paid 9.95 for each boxed console.
I stopped at Gamestop and picked up some good titles. The games are Parappa the Rapper (PSP), Suikoden Tactics (PS2), R-Type Final (PS2), and Magic Pengel (PS2). Parappa was 5.99, Suikoden was 5.99, R-type was 2.99, and Pengel was 2.99. Great additions to my collection especially since I checked their price value and each one of them is a higher price than what I paid for them ^_^
And here is the rest! The Guitar Hero game I got for 4.99 at Gamestop while the pirate game came with one of the Famiclones. Battletoads and the Game Gear game I got for 1.95 each.
And we have come to another finish! With only ten more posts to number 300 there has to be some exciting findings yet to come! I will make sure to make number 300 even more special than the previous two! Till next time!
Note: I also picked up an AV Nintendo cable for .95 cents. It's always good to pick these up as you may find the console with no cables more than once especially at the flea markets.

Hey nice finds with those Super Megasons. I've never seen that type of Famiclone before, it actually looks quite good (relatively speaking). Hope you can get it working sometime!
Thanks! I need to get an ac adapter power converter as it was made for 220v so it's only a matter of time as I'm taking a trip to Radio Shack tomorrow.
Hi there. Love the clones. Would you ever consider selling one of your Super Megason CIB consoles?
Yeah I would umm e-mail me?
Great. I am a member of the Famicom World forum so will shoot you a PM there. Thanks.
Hello there! I've never owned a video game console before but am interested in buying an old Super megason from somewhere and I wonder if it is compatible with games from the Super famicom??
