Do we even need a video game based on fishing? Fishing should always be outdoors! It's the one sport where you have to be outdoors to enjoy it. I do understand other sport games such as FIFA and NBA because you can play it against your friends and maybe your friend is on a wheelchair or obese to make it fun but for fishing? I do feel sorry for whoever got this game as a Christmas gift.....

Fishing games are quite popular in Japan, but like you I can't figure them out. I have this game for the Famicom. It sucks. I would also feel sorry for any kid who got this for Christmas:)
