Every great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection needs a proper lair for the heroes in a half shell, and I’m excited to share my newest addition—the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sewer Playset! Originally released in 1989, this iconic double-decker hideout has been brought back in a reissue that captures all the classic details we loved growing up.
The set features everything a Turtle fan could want: a high-voltage battle swing, a real working elevator, and realistic sewer pipes that bring the underground world of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo to life. What makes this version even cooler is that while the packaging is updated in a slightly smaller box, the playset inside is the same size as the original release—perfect for nostalgia while being collector-friendly.
This playset isn’t just a display piece, it’s a cornerstone of TMNT toy history. Back in the day, it was the ultimate base of operations for our Turtle figures to train, fight, and scheme against Shredder and the Foot Clan. Having it in my collection now feels like a time warp straight back to the late '80s and early '90s Saturday morning cartoon days.
Adding this to the collection is a huge win, and I can’t wait to set it up alongside my figures. It’s more than just a playset—it’s a slice of Turtle Power history!
