Many people are going to bash this title because it was grueling and very near impossible to beat if you didn't had the Nintendo Power Guide but the matter of the fact is that if this game was never made, we wouldn't have Symphony of the Night and all its successors. So please I'm going to ask you to shut the fuck up and respect this game especially since it's for the Famicom Disk System! This game actually saves your progress instead of using the annoying password system. Don't forget about the enhanced sound! Yeah, the disk system is a wonder ^_^

Finds 466: Famicom Disk System Games Galore and Some Famicom Carts as Well :p
Here we go, after a very dry month of findings I scored some disk system games! If you must know, original Disk System games are very hard to come by especially the official Nintendo brand ones like Zelda and Metroid. Well, here are all of them. I was able to pick this lot after talking to a fellow gamer through eBay from all places! I'm totally ecstatic about this find! There is everything in there even Doki Doki Panic well hidden away! Although they might sound like new additions, I actually have most of them except the Castlevania because they are ridiculously expensive! So overall, I can better the condition of my other copies and add Castlevania 1 and 2 to my collection. I need to get my disk system out of storage! AHHH!
The lot also came with these games as freebies. You may recognize some of them as they are pretty generic and common titles. I'm sure Mario 3 is the first one you recognize from this pic. That's all for now!!

Zelda (FDS)
Zelda 2 (FDS)
Metroid (FDS)
Kid Icarus (FDS)
Ice Hockey (FDS)
Doki Doki Panic (FDS)
Super Mario Bros (FDS)
Super Mario Bros 2 (FDS)
Castlevania (FDS)
Castlevania 2 (FDS)
Open Golf (FDS)
Baseball (FDS)
Super Mario Bros 3 (FC)
Druaga (FC)
Yoshi's Cookie (FC)
Popeye (FC)
Clu Clu Land (FC)
Ice Climber (FC)
Loder Runner (FC)
Retro Gaming News 173: Rockman 7 - Shukumei no Taiketsu English Translation!
Also, I fixed some graphics of Rockman’s sprite, esp. the Rush Armor and other minor edits to other characters. If only Roll’s sprite could be accessible, I could at least give her her Rockman 8 dress."
Retro-bit of the day 020: Donkey Kong 3 (FC)
Here we go, Mario's younger cousin is up to no good and he is killing Monkeys! Donkey Kong 3 is the spinoff of some sort where there is no Mario so I decided to call the younger looking Mario his cousin Merio! Anyway,s Merio just wants to get rid of the monkey infested jungles but Donkey Kong won't let him! After a while you'll notice that there are only three stages to the entire game. The main point is to survive and get a high score, after all, that's what games were about back in the day.
Go get 'em Merio!
Retro-bit of the day 019: Phantasy Star (SMS)
Phantasy Star enters to Retro-bit of the day with their first entry. This game is brutal, not only is it long but it's hard as hell. You will also feel like the rage as one of your characters dies during the game...all the leveling for nothing! Sorry for the spoiler but at least I didn't tell you which one dies. You'll have to find that out after playing the games for 50 hours and even then you still might have another 50 hours to go. Care to take the challenge of this Phantasy?
Retro-bit of the day 018: Pac-Pack (PC)
Pac-Pack! is a compilation of Pac-Man clones for the PC. What's better than playing some Pac-Man games? Well, clones of Pac-Man games! There are six of them! I'm sure CD-Man is one of them. This made it to the list mainly because it's some good old DOS-style-retro-gaming action! "Enough said, have at you?" (A line of Castlevania Symphony of the Night (PS1) )
Retro-bit of the day 017: TMNT 2 (NES)
A little delay due to studies rendered me to update four days in one!! Four Retro-bit of the day in one day! Time to catch up huh? I gathered that you know which game this is especially if you lived through the golden era of the NES. TMNT 2 for the NES is just what a co-op game is all about. Believe me, this game is not as easy as you think but using this will surely come in handy..
The konami code, it does it all even in real life, just try it!

Ads from the past 246: Hudson!
What's better than one game per ad? Three games per ad! This Hudson ad showcases three amazing titles for the good old NES. The games are Bomberman, Adventure Island, and Milon's Secret Castle. The ad doesn't catch much attention as the only thing that's standing out is the Hudson bee which many know mostly due to the infamous Honey Bee adapter. That's all for now.
Retro-bit of the day 016: Kid Dracula (GB)
Today's entry is none other than Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun or better called Kid Dracula for the original Game Boy. This is one of those obscure games that somehow never made its way to our NES. Whether it was too late into the console's life or just the many peculiarly situations in the game itself which could've easily been censored. Either way, this game did made it to the original Game Boy and we are very content with it. Be sure to check it out, you'll find yourself in awe and asking for more!

Retro-bit of the day 015: Kung Fu Heroes (NES)
Today's retro-bit is Kung Fu Heroes for the NES. This is a very generic game since it only involves punching and an array of similar levels. It's best played with two players as you can help each other out with each level. Overall, it's a very decent game so give it a shot. I'm keeping this copy sealed for collecting purposes.
