Burger King Wii U Toys are Here!

There are new toys out at BK! These are based on Mario from Nintendo! Nintendo is trying to promote the upcoming release of the Wii U with a couple of toys(Mario and a turtle shell to be exact) But honestly, they are coming out flat with the release. They have nothing to do with the Wii U console. I guess the only thing they have in common is the character being the mascot of the company.

There is a special offer that you can get from your receipt to be eligible to win a Wii U. Can you win one? Try it out! That's all for now! Be sure to go to your local Burger King and get your toy! I know I am ^_^

Retro Gaming News 155: Dragon Quest for Naughty Boys

"Hacker International produced a large number of unlicensed titles for many systems. All of those made for the Famicom Disk System were either hentai titles or disk copy programs.
BodyConQuest I - Girls Exposed was Hacker International’s first and only RPG for the FDS. It is a 2 disk, hentai, Dragon Quest parody, action RPG.
Our completed translation features:

• Old english script to match the Dragon Warrior localization of Dragon Quest. Given the content of the game, it makes it that much more silly.
• We added new text from the king after after saving and when returning to speak to your mom after the intro.
• The disk error system now gives you the appropriate error when the wrong disk or side is inserted.
• Cleaned up graphics on full screen images of… you know…
• We were able to find scans of almost all of the manual. We’ve included what we could of the translated manual with this patch.
• We found great scans of the box, disks and an included warning note. We’ve included the complete translation of them.

Although 2 disks, the game is rather short. It’s quite easy to figure out what to do and bosses are easy as long as your levels are high enough. It has a battle system like Ys."

Nintendo really? Pay 39.99 for digital games?

Recently I checked out the Nintendo e-shop and found these games up for sale for 39.99 each. I don't want to sound like if I'm bitching about it but shouldn't these games be a lot less than full price? You can get these games for a lot less than 39.99 and have the actual physical copy. Does anybody else out there sees what I'm seeing? It's such a waste!! I do admit they are great games but come on! What amazes me the most is that they have sold real well... These games should be in different price ranges. Lets see, give Mario Kart 7 a 29.99 tag price, Super Mario 3D Land 29.99, Zelda and Star Fox for 19.99 each. Zelda and Star Fox are re-releases! Why charge full price for a game you can get on eBay for 10-15 bucks each to play on your N64? This really makes grinds my gears!! :p Oh well, enough ranting...

Finds 446: Xbox 360 Controllers, Crash Bandicoot, and Game Boy Games

So I went for another round and found myself some awesome stuff. I did missed out on a copy of FF7 that this beer belly dude was holding. I wish I could somehow distract him and take it off his hands but oh well, what are you gonna do ^_^' Anyways, lets check out what we got!

Here are a couple of games. Another copy of Crash Bandicoot is in my hands! I also picked up Gasper for the original Gameboy and Super Mario Bros Deluxe for the GBC. Not bad if I say so myself.

I also came along these controllers. I tested them and they all work great! I paid five bucks each so not much of an investment there. I don't really play my 360 but it might help me get more money whenever I decide to part with it. Bundle sales are always better.

Crash Bandicoot (PS1)

Gasper (Gameboy)

Super Mario Bros Deluxe (GBC)

x2 Wireless Xbox 360 controllers

x1 Wired Xbox 360 controller
