I was finally able to find a host for my site so now there is a lot of work to do. This is of course my personal site which will contain information on stuff I like and projects I'm working on. I had one on angelfire for almost ten years but it's time to move on especially when their service is so poor. My good friend Bob is going to host my site so I think I'll be in good hands. Well I have to start getting ideas together man there is so much work to do....

Forgotten Finds #11 Mario 8
This is probably one of the most wonderful Forgotten Finds entries because it's about a game that meant a lot to me back in the day. The game is none other than the pirate cart Super Mario Bros 8! Back in my childhood in Peru there were game rooms where you would pay to play in hourly sessions and of course, I would go there every day and try to beat as many games as possible. Some of the games involved Master Fighter which is a port of Street Fighter to play on the NES. There was also Super Mario World, Captain Tsubasa 3, TMNT 2, and many more all in their pirate forms. I would play Mario 8 as many times as possible but was never able to beat it. Well now it's over fifteen years later and I was able to get a copy as a birthday gift from a great friend of mine. The first day that I got the game I played it through either times to the ending. I was actually going to play it again but my wife got fed up watching me play it. I guess I did played it too many times lol. Anyways, I don't play the game that much anymore but I do pop the game in once in a while for the nostalgic memories that still remain from the past.
Mario 8 Rocks!
Finds 022: Free Gamecube Games!
What's better than free? I don't think anything! Anyways, I got these two gamecube games from an old man that always comes to the restaurant and why? Because I always take care of him when he comes to eat. He had a big box of dvds and I was wondering what he was doing with it so I asked and he told me he was giving them away! I was like why? He said because he got tired of them so then he started taking them out one by one until I saw two small discs so asked them about it. They were the two games below. He gave them to me and said "Happy New Year" and I was like WOOT! Anyways, hope you people enjoyed this story heheheh
The games are disc only but who cares!
Updates on Famicom Carts
I'm currently out of upcoming Famicom carts for a while at least for a couple of weeks so I won't be adding much stuff anytime soon. However, I will be adding new blog entries for other consoles and handhelds since I'm an all around collector. I will be visiting the local thrift store tomorrow morning so I hope to have some good stuff to show you....
That's all for now!

Finds 021: Thrift Store Finds
Well I didn't found much this time around since I went there late again. I was able to grab a sealed Commander Keen Aliens Ate My Babysitter DOS game which is something I have never encounter before. I'm a huge Commander Keen fan so this find really made my day especially since it was only .95 cents. I also found a copy of Super Ghouls & Ghosts for the SNES. I guess you have to keep your eyes open to find this stuff because I found the Keen game where they had puzzle board games.....awa....
Commander Keen Sealed!
A real challenging game if you haven't played it, do it!

Finds 020: Lots of New Gameboy Additions
So I'm still taking advantage of the sale gamestop is having with their old gameboy games. I just can't help getting games for .45 cents or so since chances like these only come once in a while. I got all of these titles for less than twenty bucks if I remember right. I tested them all and they all work fine which is great because I hate getting a non working game. The highlights have to be Crystalis and Mega Man Xtreme 2 which are very great playable games. I'll keep my eyes out for more carts I can add to my growing collection.
Yeah lots of games this time around. The black cart with no label is R-Type DX. It's a great game overall! Anyways, Harvest Moon 2 is the title I was missing from the gameboy color saga so I was glad to buy it for .45 cents....
I just got these titles today. The gamestop employees were more than happy when I took them off their shelves....I don't know why but that's kewl with me.
Anyways, on a final note I was finally able to complete the set of Harvest Moons on the Gameboy Color. Woohoo gotta love farming.
So that's it, there is more stuff to come!

Finds 019: New Famicom Carts
So here are new Famicom pirates woohooo. In this lot you have the exclusive title Altered Beast 2 ported to the Famicom which is pretty kewl. I also have Duck Tales 2 which is pretty rare to find on the NES but the Famicom version at least pirate was cheap enough to land in my hands. Also, Kid Niki 3 and Some Unknown game joined my team of Famicom pirate carts. Awesome new additions to start the year with.
Forgotten Finds #10 TMNT Pirate
Well here we are to start the year with a forgotten find entry. Again, the point of forgotten finds is to show finds I've never really talked about or showed in many places. It's always fun to go back and check out photos of some of the most interesting games I've added to my collection. Anyhow, this time around we have my precious TMNT 2 pirate cart! Isn't the label awesome? I played this game back when I was six years old and was blown away by the game. I was able to finally get a copy of this cart when it came up on ebay and was determined to bid until I won it. I only ended up bidding five dollars and won it with two heheh so it wasn't that expensive in the end. This pirate cart also starts you with five turtles and you are also stronger so you can defeat the foot soldiers with more easy(one jump kick woot). So that's about it, I do have more entries I'm working on but I'm heading to bed too tired....
