Sega Saturday 006: Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast

This Saturday we have another amazing Sonic game. This is probably one of my favorite Sonic games that excels in story line, gameplay, music, and overall experience. This is one game every Sonic fan should play. this is the jump that Sonic made form 2D to 3D that it needed and don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting the first Sonic Adventure down, it’s just that my personal opinion definitely connects more with the second entry of the series. 

Not only does the game starts with a catchy song (City Escape) but it also brings a lot of great level design to the series. I definitely love how they could make a city into a Sonic level. It’s such an awesome experience. Not only that, you get a vast amounts of levels and play as other characters to keep the story moving. It also has a bad guys story mode so you can play trough the game as the bad guys as well. It definitely opens so many more options to the game, it’s wonderful. Of course, I will mention that the camera is still an issue and that’s just one of the very few issues this game has. You can get this entry in various ways. There was a release for the GameCube and of course the Dreamcast. You can always just emulate it as I believe the Dreamcast emulators are really catching up. Has it been released in other forms?
