Polymega Shipping September 12th

It’s almost time! The Polymega will make it’s trip to people’s homes on September 12th. What is the Polymega? Well, if you are familiar with the Retro 5 or Retro Freak then you’ll know what I’m talking about. This is an update to those consoles though, and what an update. This is the first console that will be able to play your Saturn games but that’s not all, it will also be able to rip them. How? It’s easy! The console will rip off the image file and store it in either the 32gb memory that comes built in, but it has expansion to add a SD card which you will have to do as the image files are pretty huge and 32gb won’t be enough. Overall, this is something great that’ll help you preserve your old games. You will only have to rip them off and then you can put them away in their case for preservation purposes. It’s really cool that they are doing this! The console also rips off Neo Geo CD, Sega Cd, and Turbo CD games. It will also read CDs from other regions. The Polymega will also come with an update that will download a database to your console in order to update it and recognize all your games. Of course, there will be updates going which is great. This will definitely be something to keep an eye for. I will eventually probably get one at some point in the future, funds aren’t my friend at the moment.
