So I finally got that replacement screen I ordered a week ago. As a matter of fact, I didn't even showed this gameboy in my finds section...I must have forgotten which means it'll be featured in a forgotten finds post and it's been over two years since I had one of those! Anyways, the game boy is a limited edition gold that I picked up for 20 bucks. I knew it didn't had a screen but I decided to go find a solution for it. The screen replacement was the solution obviously...lets check out the different steps I took to replace it.
I think it's great that they come with glue on the screen so all you need to do is press it against your Game Boy until it sticks in place. The screen is of high quality and pretty much the same as the original parts.
After ripping the cover it had it was time to glue it to the Game Boy. As I mentioned before, it came with glue on it so you don't need to apply anything to it. Can't get any easier than that!!
The top of the screen also came with a protective plastic which you can rip out once the screen is on place.

And there you go! Running beautifully a copy of Pokemon Red ^_^ The Game Boy looks brand new!!
I hope this somewhat helped you in deciding to replace a Game Boy screen. There is really nothing to be afraid of. I wish my Game Boy had a screen prior to the replacement to show further information about it. It's not that complicated though but you do have to be careful when you take out the old screen. Do not damage your Game Boy!! That's all for now!
