Here is a nice package from Japan that was delivered to me earlier today. It's always a nice feeling getting another Famicom into my collection. I enjoy the primitive look it has. There is just so much nostalgia and you just know this is one console that will never let you down. On the background are some PS1 and Saturn titles. I don't have much info about them but they are definitely all new additions to the never ending collection. Kudos!

I've never played an actual japanese style famicom, but they look really cool. I especially like the way the controllers are mounted on the sides.
When I was a kid, my parents got me a few japanese games, and they required an adapter to work on my european NES-console.
Funny you mention that, I used to do the same thing in Peru. We would go rent Famicom games and they would give us the adapter to use with it because we had the NES. Ahh...good old days...
