This is something that doesn’t happen all the time but I went on vacation to a new destination, a couple actually and had a blast. Not only was I sight seeing but I also got some loot along the way. The games and software were actually really cool and unique in their own way. I just had to get something everywhere I go so there can be new memories made. Overall, lets go through each of these findings!
One can’t forget all the sight seeing I was able to do in the nation’s capital! What a trip!
I got these games in a store called M&M gaming which had a big selection. It was probably the one that had the biggest selection of all the stores I hit. This one was a really cool store and the people were very friendly. They even gave me a discount! That makes you want to go back. So, as usual, I got some obscure PS1 titles which I’m always on the look out as well as a new NES addition to the collection! This one was CIB and it’s one I already have for the Sega Genesis. The Immortal is a really awesome game and quite gory. Definitely check it out if you haven’t.
These right here were gifts from my friend that knows I love old PC stuff and he collects it too so he was kind enough to give me some stuff. The Word Munchers was from a Goodwill store but the rest of them were gifts. Love them!
These two were gotten at a place in DC called Super Bit Games. Their selection was awesome and I was able to pick up a couple of Genesis games that I haven’t run into but heard about them. Robo-Kid and Shove it! Are now part of my collection!
Here is another set of games from another game store of the name of M&M Video Games. I was happy to be able to find another Agetec game and this one looks like a basic RPG. The Unholy War was also a game I’ve been looking for a while. Then finally, another big box PS1 game with Extreme Pinball.
A really quick trip to Goodwill in Sarasota turned out to give me a really cool finding. This is Microsoft Excel for MAC released in 1992. Now, this is kinda obscure because as you may know, Apple and Microsoft are rivals and finding software like this in such an era is rare. Of course, nowadays you can get software from either software giant, but back then, it was a luxury.
Overall, what an amazing trip with awesome findings. I hope I can hit new places across the country as it’s a lot of fun and get to have great conversation with lots of people. Till next time!
