Ah weren't these amazing times when you though these third party controllers were the shit? Then you would purchase them and curse the hell out of them for not working like the original ones. I only wish we had Hori releasing controller here, they sure know their stuff. What does the ad imply when you only need one hand to play? Is this a pro masturbation ad? Hmmm....

Is that for the NES?
Third party controllers - on just about any system - seem to be about the most unusual thing you can collect because they always tried to have some angle that distinguished them from the regular controller (a la "one hand play"). There are some truly awful ones in Japan that I don't think ever saw release elsewhere, especially for Playstation (fishing reel controller, pachinko controller, train engineer controller, etc.)
Ah really I would love to see how awful those controllers are! But yeah it's for the NES. There are some really bad ones for the SNES as well. I can relate to that since I was one of the people that bought to the ad....
