Finds 1496: Megacon Pick Ups 1!

I recently went to Megacon 2021 and decided to look for some amazing loot! I got some really weird pick ups on my first day and here they are. The NES bootleg was one that I don’t have and had to pick it up. I had to be quick about it because someone had it in their hand but put it down. The deal with these was buy 2 for 15 each and get one free. 30 bucks for 3 games comes out to 10 a game and that seems fair to me. I also got a Peach Boy PC Engine game which I would need a dictionary to get through and Goemon 4 for the Super Famicom which is a side scroller game. The seller also gave me this manual for Tennis for the Famicom Disk System for free which was really nice of him. I have more loot to show!

Finds 1495: GameStop’s Sale is Not That Bad…

Here is the rest of the stuff from GameStop. I was lucky enough to get original artwork for each of those. We have Song of Memories in the middle, Transformers Battlegrounds on the right, and Fallen Legion Revenant on the left. Overall, great stuff! Thank you GameStop.

Turtles in Disguise Found at Target!

I still can’t believe this happened! I was so shocked about finding this that I took a photo of them at the spot that they were! This is the TMNT Turtles in Disguise set that has been wanted by a lot of TMNT collectors. NECA then opened a preorder on the set and I got one through them. Now, I find this one and I have another one on the way. I will be letting another collector buy the one that I preorder from me. 

Here is the set in all its glory. Aren’t they beautiful? I haven’t even opened them yet because I just don’t have the time or energy with everything going on. More loot to come!

Finds 1494: GameStop Sales and Thrift Store Loot

GameStop had a sale of 5 games of 19.99 each for 9.99 each! That’s a pretty good deal to have lots of savings. I decided to gamble and go online and order them through there. The reason why I said this is a gamble is because I hate it when GameStop sends and sells their games with their generic cases. The gamble paid off so far as I gotten the first batch of games with their original stuff. 

These are the first three games I’ve gotten from them. All good titles with Dragon’s Crown Pro, Crystal Crisis, and Okami. Good stuff and they are all in great shape. The Dragon’s Crown pro even came with some cool cards!

Here are some PC games that I found thrifting. PC stuff always comes and it’s good to find it. I have to start getting picky on them though.

Finds 1493: Floppy Disk Case in the Garbage!

This is one of the more sadder finds. I was at the thrift store and saw the stuff they were throwing away. I saw this case in there and asked the clerk about it, he said it was garbage and I asked if I could have it. He refused and then decided to charge me two dollars for it! So two things I should mention, first of all, that was in the trash, this guy had no right to be charging me for it trying to take advantage of the situation, but I understand he needs to make money out of it. Then again, it was in the trash! I paid for it and took it home and cleaned it up and placed my floppies on it. It has a permanent home in my collection!

Finds 1492: Metal Wolf Chaos XD

A simple pick up which I managed to use my GameStop coupon for. it’s really cool because I only ended up paying 9 dollars with cents for this one. I have a feeling this will be a very sought after title especially with the backstory of it as I’ll be explaining it to you in a future post. I just want to be able to play it to understand it more.

Finds 1491: Some PC software goodies! Mario Teaches Typing 2, Corel Draw 8, Oregon Trail II, and Others!

I went to a couple of thrift stores and found some PC software. As you can tell, I’ve been picking up a lot of PC software lately so it’s good to get some new stuff! I have been having good luck on software pick ups and will keep it up. I definitely need to try and find other stuff for other consoles. I will look to see if any of these are not archived, add them to preserve them.

Plumbers don’t wear ties Extremely Rare PC Game Port

This is one of my rarest games I’ve ever gotten. It’s so rare that very little is known about it. You can even check online and you won’t find any copies of it for sale. Why? mainly because it’s a port of a horrible game that was also released on the 3DO. This is plumbers don’t wear ties and it’s an amazing title if you are high on drugs! Very little is known about the PC port, but I will be trying to look for more info on it. This game is for Windows 3.11 and requires very little to run. I do have a Windows 3.11 laptop but no CD rom so I will have to downgrade another computer with a CD drive in order to play it Then again, maybe it’ll work on Windows 95 as they share a similar interface. Let me know what you think of this awful game.

Finds 1490: Super Maruo, Hot Slots, and PAC-Man Championship Edition!

 Here are some new pirate carts! These are so many crazy pirates out there it I went with these. First, we have Hot Slots for the Famicom which is a porn game for the old 8-bit console. The more money you win, the more naked ladies you see. They tease you and take off their clothes the more you win! Then, we have PAC-man Championship edition which was extracted from a Pacman game and placed on Famicom cart form. This is a really cool game, it’s just so addicting! Then, Super Maruo is a very odd game. This was a pirate released years ago which is Maruo having sex with a girl. it’s really bizarre! I have to try it for myself!
