Finds 1660: Commodore 64 coding book!

This is a really cool bonus I forgot to post about when I got the monitor a couple of weeks ago. It’s a Commodore 64 book which helps you program stuff on your own Commodore 64! The previous owner said he used it when he was a kid. Now it’s been handed down to me. Maybe I should scan it and share it with everyone on here. Scans coming soon!

Finds 1659: Creative CS46 Speakers, Story of Seasons, Metroid Dread, and Foot Soldier!

Here are a couple of arrivals from various forms. The Foot Soldier was from an online purchase, I actually want to get more of these because this one has a hat and a bunch of accessories so will take care of that soon enough. Story of Seasons and Metroid Dread were from a GameStop purchase which took longer than I expected to arrive but hey, it’s here! Also, the PC Speakers were a little nice bonus. I’m not sure how they actually work, but, they don’t require power to work. Just plug them and you are good to go. I am trying to find out how they work. Maybe they have a battery compartment somewhere? I can’t find it!Interesting loot nonetheless.

Finds 1658: Five Graphics Cards, Gameboy Color Organizer, and Other Goodies

Today was a very odd day of finding loot! I definitely didn’t expected this! It was some unique loot. The bag of graphics cards were such a mystery but I was able to identity them all! Finds 1657: Commodore 64 Monitor Addition! Plays Famicom Quite Well…

So I was doing my usual search for Commodore 64 on Offer Up and this came up. It was a listing for a Commodore 64 with monitor for 600 bucks which was way out of my budget so I offered to get the monitor only for a very low and more favorable amount. I ended up paying 125 for the monitor and the seller ended up including the Commodore 64 console with it! I was happy with the monitor and the console was a nice added bonus even though the seller said the console doesn’t work. I have a monitor in my office and my room now! They make retro games look freaking amazing! A forever home for this monitor that will live on as long as it possibly can! This is one of the best findings I had recently.

This is a really cool cart that I saw on eBay. it’s a bootleg TMNT 2 cart which I already have many of but this one starts you off on different stages which is really cool. Another addition to my never ending pirate Famicom cart collection.

Finds 1655: Cotton Reboot and Wonder Boy Asha in Monster World

These two beauties are finally here. I believe I waited almost two years for them. No offense to strictly Limited Games, but the wait for these and other games I’ve pre-ordered is way too long. I understand they are a small business but it also makes me think twice about ordering from them again. 

The games came in amazing packaging. They are just beautiful and full of extras. 

I will be opening them when I get around to them. Maybe I’ll make a video of them.

Finds 1654: Wild Guns Reloaded, Vectorman, Mini Mac, Sonic Adventure, and More!

A week full of different hunting leads to multiple games additions. There is a little bit of everything so lets take a look! 

Here is Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast, Wild Guns Reloaded, and a blue PlayStation 4 controller. I already have Wild Guns Reloaded for PS4, but I wanted the Switch version. The controller was tested and works! The Sonic Adventure is a little scratch but I’m sure it works alright. 

Here is some PC software. Flight Simulator 98 is part of the series which was shockingly really popular, so popular that it had a yearly release like a sports title. The other two are sealed goodies. I think I already have them but I don’t know yet. 

Here is Vectorman for the Sega Genesis, Final Fantasy VI disc only for PS1, and a Mac Mini. I just found out that you need a proprietary monitor for the Mac Mini so I’m kind of bummed out for that. I will look for one, but I don’t really have the room for much!!

Finds 1653: Sakuna, Axiom Verge 1 & 2, Mushihimesama, and King of Dragons

Here is a bunch of awesome goodies from the past week. Two of them are from Limited Run Games and one from GameStop. Guess which is which? Also, a huge addition with King of Dragons for the SNES. Now, the cart is beat up a little bit but works amazingly.

Welcome to August!

So here we are, at month number 8 of the year. We are coming to the final quarter of the year and things are definitely looking up. I will be taking another trip for looting purposes soon enough and I’m really excited for it! I won’t say many details about it, but I actually do have two trips coming up! I totally forgot to mention about the other trip but then again I don’t really talk much about it on here. Life has been a rollercoaster ride and things definitely need to start falling into place and making more sense. I will just leave this photo of my Famiclone controllers which are really awesome if you ask me! I hope to have more Famiclone stuff in the coming months as I’ll be real close to it! Game on!
