Pirate Game of the Week 016: Digimon Rury (GBA)
There are a few RPG pirates that are worth a look and this is one of them. The game may have a grammatical error in the title but it makes up for it with decent gameplay. The game is none other than Digimon Rury! The game mimics the previous Pokemon versions such as Saphire and Ruby and tries to build itself an interesting RPG packed title. You use your monster to battle other monsters and level up time after time.
The music is not as annoying as you'll think and the graphics will look similar to you if you have played previous 16-bit games. It's all fine and enjoyable after all. There are true pirate makers out there! Believe it or not! But enough of that, the game is quite simple and doesn't have a complicated battle system so many of you can be assured that you won't be breaking your head open with the battle system. The wonderful makers of this game were nice enough to forget about passwords and rather use a battery to save your game!
Furthermore, the game is enjoyable to look at and quite interesting as you don't usually get good quality role playing games. The game battles are a bit of in the long side but it's workable as you can then find out all you need to know such as weaknesses and strengths to be victorious in a faster matter. I do have to say that the dialog can confuse you and I'm sure you have figure out that this game was created by people who's first language is not English.
Overall, I highly suggest this game if you are into the obscure RPG gameplay. It's a good reason to pick up your SP or DS lite once more and play Digimon Rury! It's one of a kind!
