Well got a package the other day with two boxed Famicom games. They are in pretty good shape. I know one of them is Golf, but I'm not sure about the other one. Here are some photos.

Only three kittens...
Well we though there would be more but only three kittens were born a couple of days ago. They are all different from each other and only ones looks like the mom but they are all very adorable. I'm still shocked that the cat only had three kittens. Now comes the time to take care of them until they are adoptable. I hope we can find them good homes....

Retro game of the Week 012: Earth Worm Jim(SNES)
One of the games that really made me come back for more was Earth Worm Jim. There is nothing more fun than playing as a worm in a super suit! This game has a little bit of everything, but most of all, crazy monsters! The game is pretty long if you die a lot of times(like me) but fun overall. I really love a game with animation and wackiness all over it because it sort of cheers you up. It's pretty hard to explain! I'm not sure how to say it but when you play a game full of animation and weird characters, it sort of takes you back to your childhood...a simpler time...
Anyways, the game is also packed in with a bonus level where you race to the end against this bird dude(forgot his name) and if you win, you get a continue, at least that's what I though the can of worms was.
So this is it....not much more to say except get a copy of this game and keep the retro gaming hobby alive! You won't regret the hilarious conclusion this game brings. Also, don't forget about the sequel which is as good!

Some news....
Well haven't had updates in the last couple of days but it's now over! har har har anyways, just wanted to point out that my sales have been going so-so but I hope to be able to save some money for the event by the end of the month. Also, I haven't had a chance to work on my session videos but I'll be able to do so in the coming week. I'm also getting promoted at work with even more responsibilities so I'll be busy with that as well. One last thing, I'm going to renew my license tomorrow morning so wish me luck! Finally, I will be posting the retro game of the week in the next couple of hours plus a couple of more things so stay tuned!!

Finds 115: Another PS1 lot including FF7!
Well what a great way to start the month of October. I checked craiglist for some deals and found a few that were very appealing. I e-mail this guy about a ps1 lot he had and he told me give me 35 dollars for everything and I said sure. In the end, I met up with him and did the purchase. I'm very happy with this lot specially because of the Final Fantasy 7.
A tie between NES/Famicom & SNES/Super Famicom
Thanks everyone that voted! This was such a close race between these two and in the end, we couldn't find a winner. Well I guess we'll have to do this again sometime but these results does give justice. Both the NES/Famicom and SNES/Super Famicom are great consoles with a vast library of games. There is no way to take them apart because of the exclusive games that were made for each other. They both have marios, megamans, and final fantasies. Of course, they both have some of the most memorable games of their time. Once again, thanks everyone for voting and hope you can participate in the next one! Until next time!
Cat Night...
Well I got home thinking I was just going to do my usual stuff when I started looking at this cat we found in the street. She is pregnant and guess it was time for her to do her stuff....she is currently in labor and has delivered one kitten. It will be very interesting to see how many she'll have. I hope not many because we already have many pets here as it is! I'll keep you guys posted and some photos in the morning. I should keep an eye on her just in case she needs assistance. It's going to be a longgggg nightttt eerrrr morning....

Arcade at the flea market
Well as we took a break from shopping last Sunday, we decided to check out the arcade inside the flea market. It was awesome! Lots of different machines! Also, some misleading ones...check it out!
This is a very misleading arcade game. You can see that donkey kong is the game in it instead of the Pac Man game....I want my quarter back!

Me and my friend ended up playing some Die Hard game which was really fun. I also played Xmen vs Street Fighter but the buttons didn't work that well so I lost real fast...oh well...

Find of the Month (September)
Well I am done buying games for this month so it's time to look through them and see which one is the best find of the month. I have looked through all my finds and decided that the Famicom AV CIB is the find of the month! Not only is it in super mint condition but I only paid 55 dollars for it! I tested it and it worked great. I did not even dare to open the still bagged dogbone controllers because I decided to keep it as a collectors item. This is just one of those finds that got me anxious and made me check the mail everyday(stuff that comes in the mail doesn't usually make me do this). At first I though that the Famicom AV wasn't complete but then my friend Tyler explained to me that it didn't come with the cables because the console was released during the early SNES era so people would be able to use the cables of their super famicom to be able to play this console and I'm sure it helped keep it at a lower price.
Here is the photo once more of this awesome purchase. I'm totally happy I could finally get this console especially when someone beat me to another one about a year ago for around the same price but it wasn't boxed. I'm going to cherish this console especially since I'm Famicom Freak! I love Famicom! Until next month!
