Sega Saturday 014: Comix Zone (Genesis)

This is a game I actually loved playing at the local Sears when they used to sell video games. They had a kiosk and this was one of the games you could play. So the game is a side scroller, you play as if you're in a comic book hence the name. The idea is interesting but the game is quite tough. The cool thing about it is that the level is like a comic book so if you are moving to the next part of the level, it's just a comic book page. Isn't that' awesome? I have to say, this game is not for everyone, so be sure to test it out somewhere before purchasing a physical copy. I believe this game comes in the various Genesis compilations for newer consoles so be sure to check that out first. I still treasure this game regardless of its difficulty. Maybe it's just one of those games that require you to play it for a while to get to know how it works.
