Finds 1458: PC Software, Studio Quality Cartridges, and More!

Some thrifting was done and some new stuff was found. This time around, I found some PC software which I'll check out, I know I'm sending some to my friend since he loves this stuff as well. I also found some Studio Quality Carts that are brand new and even though I don't know much about them, I love the look of them. Below is the rest!

Here are some Xbox One Games which I'm starting to pick up because why not right? I also got an Xbox 360 controller and a Playstation game I have never ever heard of before. It's by Tecmo and it's a Soccer games so I'm all in. Have a good day!

Finds 1457: Various Titles Mega Man Zero ZX, Aliiance Alive, Beast Quest, and Sleeping Dogs

Here are some more pick ups from earlier in the week. Be sure to check out the deals at Gamestop and Five Below as sometimes they have some awesome game deals. Five Below carries games that are five dollars so can't beat that! I have been looking for Mega Man Zero ZX Collection for quite some time.

Finds 1456: Atooi Collection for the 3DS

Another Limited Run release! This one I ordered a while ago and due to the pandemic it got delayed, well everything got delayed. The games on here were actually digital only but now they are out in physical form, every single one of them in one cart and it comes with extras. I'm not even sure why I got it with the extras but it's done! Another one for the collection!

Finds 1455: Gijoe Vehicle Walmart Find!

Here is a very awesome find. I have been looking for the vehicles of the re-release of the Gijoe line. I don't care much about the action figures because the ones they released were in no way from the original series, it's horrible lazy advertising and work from them which is a shame. Overall, I fell in love with the cover art. I'll probably open it up at some point.

I'm excited for those game pads, I do have to get the drivers for the game pad for the PC. It's always different with every computer. We shall see which one will be liked the best. I got some awesome software and games. Nothing crazy but good additions as well.

Microsoft Word 6 on Windows 3.11

I have been working on the old IBM Thinkpad 755CX and decided to downgrade it to Windows 3.11 and the sound works flawlessly. Now, it was time to add some applications to it and this is one I wanted to install on it so bad! I made a custom label for it and I gotta say, it looks great! The program is nine disks! I finished installing it and have been using it and also playing some classic DOS games which is really cool. I'm learning new commands on DOS as well. It has all been an amazing learning experience. Loving it and I'm pretty much finished with this project. I will be moving on to the next soon enough!

Playstation 3, PSP, and PSvita Stores Closing !

Some news that you knew would come one way or another and it was only a matter of time. So, the Playstation 3, PSP, and PSvita are waving goodbye to the online world. The stores for the PS3 and PSP are to close on July 2nd of this year. Be sure to get everything that you can get out of the stores! While the PS Vita store will close down on August 27th of this year. This is it! This only comes to show you why physical media is so important, your digital files will be useless eventually. Is this the path we are taking? Are we just going to be forced to upgrade to the newer tech in order to keep up with the times? This is something that is being debated more and more as the time goes on. Well, it's been an amazing ride for these wonderful consoles and handhelds. Game on!

IBM Thinkpad 755CX Lives on!

After getting the AC Adapter for it, I decided to test this baby out and it after not booting, I opened it up to see if something was obstructing it. Apparently, the battery was preventing it from booting which made sense as I could see a leak on it, it happens a lot. After that, I booted it to find Windows 95 on it. For some reason the sound doesn't work so I will have to look more into it. Also, I found a extra Ram module that came off the slot so the previous owner had updated the ram which is great because these are really hard to find. I think what I'm going to end up doing is uploading the drivers for all my computers on my blog just in case anyone else is having problems with it. It's crazy how hard some of these drivers are to find. I'm so happy the laptop is working though!

Finds 1450: Limited Run Games Metal Slug Anthology Big Box Plus Others

Always delivering quality games is Limited Run Games. I highly recommend you order from them, just please don't get everything, you'll never be able to catch up. Overall, I had to get the whole set for this release because the single game was sold out so I will be getting rid of my extra copy of Metal Slug for PS4. I'm very happy overall!

Finds 1449: One of the Best Lots in a While! RPG Galore! WOW!

This is one of the most amazing lots I've gotten in a while. I know it looks like a lot of the lots I have gotten in the past but the prices I paid for these games are unheard of nowadays. Buying in bundle definitely pays off. So as you can see, there is a lot of beautiful stuff to look at. That's not all though, I have more stuff in the photo below of stuff that didn't fit this first photo. Lets go through it!

The portable Final Fantasy games are totally worth it. I only had part three but I got the rest of the set now. Phantasy Star IV is always a game I wanted to get. The SNES games are all pure win! Just beautiful stuff. The little extras are there too!

I was finally able to get the Chocobo Dungeon games for the original Playstation as well as the Chocobo Racing game which I had no idea it existed! Uff!

Some Playstation games. The main score was the one in the middle, you know that shoot 'em up by Working Designs, I love it all!

This is what didn't fit in the first photo. We have a double of Sega games, Chocobo Dungeon for Wii, and more boxes Final Fantasy games! An amazing addition to my collection!
I have more to come!

New TMNT Game is Coming Out! Retro Style Turtles!

This are some big unexpected news. I guess they finally listened to us and a new TMNT game with the style of the classic arcade games is coming to us! The game is being developed by Dotemu who also worked on Streets of Rage IV so they have some experience under their belt. So the game doesn’t have a release date, but has been announced that it’s coming for the PC, and consoles. I think it’ll be digital only but I’m sure Limited Run Games will have a release of their own, they have to!

New Online Store in the Works...

So there are going to be some changes in the online store. I will no longer operate on Etsy as they suck ass! Their policies are ridiculous and I rather go on it alone. I will be opening a store on Shopify which will be linked to social media in various ways. It’s still in the beginning stage but I will definitely keep you updated on when it’s online. If you want some custom work, be sure to send me an e-mail to luiszena@hotmail.com . I still have a big inventory of reports, custom work, and labels. Thank you!

Finds 1448: Persona 5 Strikers and Other Additions!

I finally picked up the new Persona 5 Strikers game! This one differs from the RPG as it's more action in the Hyrole Warriors or Tales style gameplay. It's a really cool twist and definitely a welcoming addition to the Persona series. I also picked up some games for other consoles as you can see. Nothing out of the extraordinary, but cool nonetheless.

Finds 1447: The IBM Thinkpad 755CX

I went thrifting and found this beautiful machine. This is the IBM Thinkpad 755CX and it's a nice little machine with a 75mhz pentium 1 with a 810mb hard and 8mb of ram. I intend to upgrade the ram and do a fresh install on this machine but it didn't come with a power cable which I already bought through eBay! Thank you eBay! Overall, it looks good so we will see what happens with it! I love vintage laptops and computers! This will make a nice addition to the collection.

This is not a NES controller !

This is really neat. I was shopping around for a controller for my Atari 7800 and stumbled upon this little beauty. The controller resembles a NES controller in multiple ways! By the way, it works great! The feel and control of it is amazing. I highly recommend it to any Atari 7800 owner! You can get yours by visiting the creators of this beautiful controller called RetroGameBoyz. Thank you guys! You guys rule!

Finds 1445: Two PS4 Additions! Root Letter & Kotodama

The PlayStation 4 has a lot of odd and obscure titles so when you run into them, all you can do is pick them up especially if they’re on sale. The games are Root Letter and Kotodama. Root Letter is a novel type games while Kotodama is a puzzler. Unique in their own way and great additions to the collection.
