Alien Syndrome is a game that brings the arcade experience home. Believe it or not, The Tengen version of the game is quite good. Even better than the Master System version. This games gives a balanced experience of gameplay, graphics, and music. The game was originally released by Sega so that's saying a lot! I guess just leave it to Tengen to make it into something wonderful. Lets take a look at this game!
In the music and sound department, this game doesn't offer much. Lets face it, it can't sound or look the same as the arcade game but it does have its own charm. Sound effects are also a very good addition.
The game does look better than other counterparts (Sega Master System) and it has the usual 8-bit charm. I guess Tengen had more experience with the NES. The game uses a good array of colors to make things work. In some ways, it's almost arcade like. That's quite impressive.
This game is quite fun. Lots of alien shooting in this one. It mimics the arcade game quite well. A totally enjoyable experience. It brings arcade value into the mix. In other words, when a console game makes you feel like you are playing the arcade experience, then that's really good! I enjoyed it and many others will do as well. It's quite shocking how this game isn't worth more.
This is a very fun game in which you destroy aliens. That was one of the many fads back in the late 80s and early 90s. This was considered awesome and innovative. Overall, it's just that and then some. As the game mimics the arcade game quite well, it's no wonder it's the better version of it. I highly recommend this game as it's quite cheap to buy which is a shocker. I'll just leave it at that.
