So a new service will be launching on 2018 for the Nintendo Switch. Apparently, it'll be an online subscription which will cost you around 29.99 a year in which you can play NES games online with other users of the console. It's a neat idea and definitely a more welcoming one as you don't have to buy the classic games all over again. Lets face it, you bought them for the Wii, the Wiiu, and if you had to do it on the Switch well then that's just plain ugly.
Furthermore, the online service will be free all the way to the end of 2017. Of course, the Virtual Console service won't launch till 2018 so might as well enjoy the multiplayer games that the Switch is offering. It's a good idea that the Switch is finally changing things for the better although something as an online subscription makes you wonder as what will happen when the Switch is over with. I'm guessing you won't be able to play those classics. Either way, it's good and bad that this is happening. I just wish Nintendo would stop shoving the same games to us over and over. It's quite tiring, but people eat them up. We are the ones to be blamed for that.
I just hope that the console has a successful long life. Lets face it, if this doesn't work, they will be following Sega and turn into a software only company. Can you imagine Mario in a Playstation game?
