Game-bit of the day 895: Hori Arcade Stick (PS3)

I thought this was for the Wii till I sad the buttons on top, man I'm blind! Either way, this is for the PS3 and it's a fighting stick. I must find a way to use it on my arcade machine! It can be done!

Ads from the Past 424: Mega Man 7

One of my favorite Mega Man games for any console is this one. I still need to get this in original form. Yes, the digital collection versions I have don't count! Errr I guess they do..

Game-bit of the day 894: Fire Pro Wrestling 3 (PC Engine)

You like wrestling? This is a very good unlicensed series to go after. I found it fun the five minutes I played it! :p

Game-bit of the day 893: Langrisser (PC Engine)

This series started so long ago and is still going to this day. It's mostly an RPG series that a lot of gamers fell in love with. I need to get into it myself!

Retro Game of the Week 160: Baseball Stars 2 (Arcade)

This week's pick is some awesome arcade action with Baseball Stars 2 for the arcade by SNK. SNK was the top of the line arcade games of the early 90s and it was just one quality hit after another. They took the baseball genre and gave it an awesome arcade feel that's fun to this day. Believe me, I have been streaming this game a couple of times.

The game plays like any other baseball game but with awesome animations and gameplay. When the pitcher gets tired, it will show with his emotions. You can also power up for a super bat in order for a better chance at a hit or homerun. The game plays like any other baseball game of its time. You have to be quick when the ball comes to you and the pitcher will try to make you chase the balls in order to strike you out.

The game is a lot of fun and even helps you out when you are in a pickle. You will need lots of quarters in order to finish a single game and compete for the pennant but that's why MAME is here for. I can only imagine the amount of money you would have to drop in order to complete this game. Nevertheless, another wonderful hit by SNK.

Game-bit of the day 892: 1552 (PC Engine)

Here is another strategy game that requires a vast amount of Japanese knowledge. These are always good to learn about the dynasties from their history. It's pretty awesome but I need it translated!

Ads from the Past 423: Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension

Probably the best Dragon Ball Z fighter for the Super Famicom. It's just too good and has special moves, a decent set of fighters, and even voice acting. What more can you ask for?

Game-bit of the day 891: Daedalus (Saturn)

This is a very technical game. It's strategy and quite complex. If you know Japanese, be my guest, otherwise, good luck figuring out what to do!

Game-bit of the day 890: Parodius Deluxe Pack (Saturn)

This is Parodius Deluxe Pack for the Sega Saturn. As I have mentioned before, these deluxe packs are always a good pick up because of the various features it comes with. You won't be disappointed with such a good series like Parodius! It kicks ass!

Game-bit of the day 889: Gale Racer (Saturn)

A very awesome racer for the Saturn. It was only released in Japan. It's an early but good racing game that has some pretty good gameplay. It's one of those games that aren't super duper memorable, but the Sonic hanging on your dashboard will say otherwise.

Finds 1127: Thrift Store and Mail Day! Various Loot!

I got a little bit of everything. These are my favorite type of posts to be honest. So, to begin, I have two Xbox Games, one called Unreal 2 while the other one is called Secret Weapons of Normandy. Two titles that I think are exclusive to the Xbox. Then, I picked up The Last of Us which is an amazing game! The sequel I think is coming. For the PSvita, I picked up Army Corps of Hell and for the GBA I got Crazy Chase. Finally, Langrisser for the 3DS which was a steal online. Not bad, and I believe they are all new additions to the collection.

So this is a little upgrade to the awesome add-on for the Super Famicom/ SNES. Totally loving this one as it came with some improvements like link play.

Game-bit of the day 888: Twin Bee Deluxe Pack (Saturn)

A very neat deluxe pack of the Twin Bee Series. Definitely a must have for the Saturn. It has some neat stuff in there and you definitely won't get bored! It's Deluxe!

Finds 1126: Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology for 3DS!

This is a very awesome pick up. I was waiting for this and actually missed out on the release date of it but thanks to eBay, I was able to pick up the collector's edition! Hooray !

Game-bit of the day 887: VG Advanced (PC Engine)

This is practically a Street Fighter 2 clone with girls instead of the world warriors. It's actually not bad, the gameplay is solid and the music is great. I'm going to have to review this one sometime soon.

Retro Game of the Week 159: Kasia (PC)

So why did I picked this game? It's quite simple. It's an easy going classic DOS game with Zelda style gameplay. It's simple and easy. Anyone can pick up and play this game and even though it's primitive, it does the job for a little bit of the time you are able to play it. What is there more to say? It just has a retro and classic feel that will make any retro style player giggle!

The game is quite simple. Your hero comes with a sword and is on a quest. Just find items, kill monsters, and find your destiny. It's very self explanatory. You can find this game (Shareware) with an easy google search. The full version though, will have to get from the owner! Good luck as I haven't had a chance to find it myself...

Finds 1125: Secret of Mana Remake and Sega 3D Classics Collection !

Here are a couple of awesome pick ups! I'm currently streaming or probably done with Secret of Mana by now and the Sega 3D Classic Collection is a must for any Sega fan!

Game-bit of the day 886: Super Darius (PC Engine)

This is a very decent port of the arcade game. Was this an arcade game to begin with? I know I've played Darius on the arcade but not sure which one. Oh well, lets just say it is. It's a classic shoot 'em up and one of the good ones so play it now!

Finds 1124: Getting Lost Again and Finding Loot! Random Pick Ups!

So after school, I drove around and got lost thinking I knew the way home. As I was putting on google maps to get home, I saw a couple of thrift stores so decided to stop by and found some interesting loot! The keyboard was cool! Best of all, everything was a dollar a piece! The owner also took down my info and will call me when she gets more. Gotta love it! LOCAL LOOT!

Game-bit of the day 885: Shin Megami Tensei (PC Engine)

This is a pretty awesome artwork of one of my favorite series ever! Shin Megami Tensei is dark and beautiful full of mythical creatures and amazing tough gameplay. This game is not for the faint at heart. Beware!

Ads from the Past 421: Toys r Us Flyer "You'll never outgrow us"

With the recent decision of every Toys r Us closing their doors, we are putting another end to another place we remembered from our childhood. You know, I believe that this will keep happening as we are moving more into the digital age in which we will not need to go to places to purchases items. What's next? Virtual Reality Shopping?

Game-bit of the day 884: Last Armageddon (PC Engine)

I really dig the artwork of this game. It's something medival but with lots of crazy creatures. Maybe at late 80s and early 90s mix of art. I love it!

Finds 1123: Back to Windows 95, Vintage Laptop Pick Up!

So here is a beautiful Laptop I got locally. It was given to me sold as is but the lady said it worked and thank god it did! It came with Windows 95 but the floppy drive is busted. I'm looking for a replacement so I can add an array of DOS game magic in them ^_^

Game-bit of the day 883: Challenger (FC)

A very tough game in my opinion that was a side scroller adventure mix. It's really unique if you ask me and something that wasn't done much for its time. The difficulty though, ouch!
