Ads From The Past 163: Mom & Dad Video Game Gifts

Here is something you could have given to your parents if one, you live in the 90s and two, they were gamers. Things very rare back then are very popular nowadays especially since those kids in the 90s are parents nowadays.

Ads From The Past 161: Japan Video Games

Here is a very interesting ad for import games. Believe it or not, importing back in the early 90s was very expensive and rare to do. If you wanted to have video games and consoles before they arrived to the United States then you would import them.

Goodbye Pinto, My Wonderful Faithful Cat....

Pinto is the cat on the left
I have some really bad news. Sadly, last night my cat was ran over by a car. The car struck on his neck and broke it in an instant. He was able to gather strength to make it back home where he knew he would be safe. Finally, once I was outside he gave a last breath with a meow as if calling for my help. I couldn't do much as I lay there holding his broken neck seeing as blood started coming out of his mouth. Moments later, he was gone as if he wanted to wait to see me one last time before he left. I knew there was nothing to be done but I couldn't comprehend what had happened. To be honest, there is a lot more to it than what I told you that let to this disaster but there is just no point in it. What's done is done and that's all there is to it. I'm really going to miss him as he was the cat that would follow me everywhere and would always ask me to comfort him. He is just another one I will never grow old with anymore....Things aren't the same anymore but at least he is resting in piece. We placed him in a box and I kept petting him, talking to him, and finally telling him goodbye and that I will always love him. My family took care of burying him as I don't think I would have liked to be there to see it. This is part of life and we all have to learn to deal with it, I have made my peace with my faithful companion and hope to see him again someday...goodbye my friend...

Ads From The Past 160: Road Runner's Death Valley Rally (SNES)

I never liked these looney tunes to begin with. I'm cool with Bugs Bunny and the rest of them but always found myself annoyed with the Road Runner...That stupid Coyote can't get things right and you have to wonder if it's really worth it all the pain to eat an already starving looking bird.

Finds 310: Mega Magazine Lot! Tips & Tricks and Gamepro!

So with my arrival I had some packages waiting for me. There were two, one was a medium flat rate box and the other was an envelope. Care to take a guess what they were? Magazines of course! I was able to get these for mad cheap spending a total for twenty dollars for both lots combined. I say that's a real good deal for 40+ magazines. I haven't bought Gamepros in so long so all of these are new to my collection. Same goes for the Tips and Tricks magazine. There is also one PSM somewhere in there that you have to find like in the Where is Waldo books. I certainly have material to share for months to come ^_^

Just wanted to put a note on here that I'm kind of behind with the news and updates but will be trying to get back to date in the next three days. Since coming back from my trip, my job has put me working non stop so I will have to come up with the time to do all these updates. I'm behind three retro games of the week and the same goes for pirate games of the week so will have to work on those. I also have new ads as well as other articles I'm working on. So much to do!!

Finds 309: Enter Max Play, The Popular Famiclone!

So with my trip coming to an end, I have to get busy and find the rarities I have come here to get! Lets see what I caught from my fishing line! This time around I went to a market that only opens on Sundays and is similar to the flea market. There was so much great stuff there with a lot of risks involving buying non working carts, getting robbed, and even getting lost! I was lucky enough to have my friend as a guide and went on to check out the place! I couldn't take photos because it was way too dangerous to bring your camera into. You have to have eyes behind your head in order to keep yourself warned of any funny business. Check these stuff out.

Peru Trip Days 8 & 9: Walking in the Past...

So here it is, finally was able to take a shot of my home from years ago. It's amazing how I used to remember it and how it looks now. The only thing that hasn't changed is that tree in the front that keeps blooming those flowers that look like bells. Lets take a look back at my old neighborhood and of course, food food food!
