Finds 615: CIB Sega Genesis Model 1 Plus Games Streets of Rage 3 and Others

Yet another score! This is a lot of Sega goodness but there is some Nintendo stuff as well. Can you tell what it is? The ace of this lot is Streets of Rage 3 CIB! Another gem I've been wanting CIB. I also never had a boxed Genesis console so this is a good plus. So much awesomeness!

Sorry for the small photo but here are some awesome loots from today! err yesterday I mean. You rarely see boxed NES games nowadays so it was real lucky to run into these in the wild. The precious one of this lot of course is Battletoads! There are some others but Battletoads is just the best! There are also other findings like a Wii console and NES console. Then, Pokemon Puzzle League among others that are loose as well.

Finds 613: Super Mario 64 Pinball, Pacman 2 3D Label, and other retro stuff

You think you have seen it all and then you bump into this! A freaking Super Mario 64 Pinball machine! I haven't tested it because the damn thing takes four D batteries. I wonder if it has any Nintendo sounds and what not. Nevertheless, I got some other loot as you can see. The more interesting one was this one, well that is, other than the Pinball machine...

I'm guessing this is a label variant for this game. It might have been the first run of the game. It's really cool though!

Sega Saturday 014: Sega Nomad Screen Fix

I noticed that my Sega Nomad had a crack on the screen so a quick solution to it was to go on eBay and order a replacement. I don't even know why that duracell battery is in the photo but I have to say, it was a very successful fix.

Retro-bit of the day 269: Rockman 3 (FC)

Here is a classic of classics! Rockman 3 for the Famicom is as many of you know, Mega Man for the NES. The game is just as good for the Japanese console. After all, that's where it came from anyways.

Finds 612: Famicom Loose Console

Here is a quick find and a good one nonetheless. It's a Famicom! It definitely looks great!

Finds 611: SNES Console and PS3 Controller

You just gotta love when you run into these consoles in great shape and no yellowing! This is the SNES at its up-most beauty! I also picked up a PS3 Controller! They are always good pick ups because lets face it, no one wants to pay 40 dollars for one of these.

Finds 610: Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, Hokuoki Limited Edition, and Akaikatana

It was definitely an interesting day at the local Gamestop. I went there to pick up Hokuoki Limited Edition for the 3DS but ended up leaving with two more games. They had the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix set in there so it was a no doubter that I would be picking that one up. It's funny though, I went to another Gamestop last weekend and the douche worker there told me they only were given to the people that reserved it. I don't tolerate that douche-like behavior so that was that. I'm going to stick with my local Gamestop. Anyways, I also got AkaiKatana which is a shoot 'em up game for the Xbox 360. I had no idea there was a whole world of shoot 'em ups for the console so I'm going to start tracking them down. Finally, Hakouki was the last game needed to finish the day right. Apparently, the game comes with a Japanese towel....interesting stuff these games bring nowadays. Until next time!

Here is a pic of all three of them!

Retro-bit of the day 268: Shoot 'em up Game (GB)

Here is a game I have no idea what it's called. All I know is that it's a shooter. I believe I found this game at the flea market but my memory is a little fuzzy. It might have been from one of the many lots I've purchased from eBay. Either way, it's a good one so check it out!

Ads from the past 261: Shining Wisdom (Sega Saturn)

This is a pretty awesome game for the Sega Saturn. Of course, Working Designs had to be behind such a beautiful game. They always were behind some of the most awesome releases in both the Playstation and Sega Saturn. Furthermore, this game is incredibly addictive and quite expensive nowadays. Good luck finding it!

CIB Sunday 013: Dragon Quest 8 (PS2)

This is by far the only console Dragon Quest game we have received other than the stupid Wii sword game which I think doesn't even count! This is just an amazing game though....I gotta love it!

Finds 609: Demon's Souls

A little pick up from the day of GTA 5 release date! People were shocked I wasn't buying the game. I'm going to stick with RPGs as usual but don't get me wrong, I will eventually pick up GTA 5 when it's a a discounted price though...

Finds 608: Famicom Pirates, Thunder Force V, and Dragon Warrior 3 Plus Others

A trip to a good friend ended up in some new loot! Sorry about the pic but the damn sun wasn't being nice! I have posted more pics below so lets check those out!

Here is a better shot of the Famicom loot. They're mostly generic games but definitely fun ones. You never know what they might have so I will be testing them out as well.
Here are some other pick ups. The Dragon Warrior 3 game was a good addition even though I only needed the box and Thunder Force V definitely took the top spot in this post! The NES cart with no label is Super Mario Bros 3 and the Sponge Bob controller was a freebie. That's all for now!

Retro-bit of the day 267: Gameboy Multicart (GB)

This is one of many multicarts out there for the Gameboy. This one contains some really cool titles and best of all, it saves your progress! It not only comes with the Pokemon games but it also comes with Rockman V! Sadly, the games are in Japanese so they're tough to play through if you aren't familiar with the language. It does come with Super Mario 4 pirate! Awww yeah!

Retro-bit of the day 266: Decap-Attack (Gen)

This is a very interesting game. It involves zombies so it might be up your alley if you are into all of that stuff. It's not something amazing but it definitely is something out of the ordinary. Check it out!

Retro-bit of the day 265: Spider-Man Xmen (Gen)

Spider-Man is back in another adventure for the Sega Genesis but this time around the X-men join him for some needed help. This game is tough as heck! It's so odd that in the cover you see the upgraded versions of the characters but in the game you play as the older versions with their older suits. Hmmm..lazy programing?
