Pacman Port for the Commodore 64 is Here and it's Real!

This is a really cool port of Pac-Man. You know Pac-Man right? Well, there is a really neat C64 version that you must try out. The game is in a beta form as you can probably encounter bugs, but the work is quite good. I intend to put this one into a disk and try it out on my Commodore 64, but there is always the emulation alternative. For more info, please click here. Be sure to support this programmer on his work.

Series Coming Back! Organizing the Office

I've been finally getting life together in order to work on other projects. I also left so many projects half done but I am so ready to get back into them. It's crazy how life can sometimes just take you out of your funk, but it's the way you get back up and fix what was wrong that will take you to the next level. Anyways, I do these posts with the will of doing something more. My blog is everything to me as I've had it running since 2007 and that's a long time. A lot of things you thought were gone will return. I have learned that there is more to retro games than just collecting them, you also need to enjoy them and I've forgotten that over the years. I have been setting up my office and room for this to become more of a reality. I have been talking to a friend for months about this ordeal. I feel like I'm just hoarding games, and it'll be a lot better if I actually end up enjoying them, that's what the whole point of it is after all. I have everything almost ready. It's time to take off!

Finds 1607: Rare Olivetti Floppy Drive

This is the Olivetti Floppy Drive. The cable for this laptop is quite unique as it was only made to work with this brand of laptops. This makes this floppy drive quite a rarity. Apparently, from what I've found online and from forums, these only work on Olivetti laptops so it makes it hard to find and crucial for someone with an Olivetti notebook.

Bio Menace for DOS

This is one of the games I've been itching to play and always challenge any of my computers to try and run. I had a run in with this game back in the day with my old Packard Bell computer which couldn't run the game back then so I make it my goal to get it to work. The problem with my old computer was that there was always a problem with the memory. Now, some of them don't have that problem at all and even though I changed the config.sys to open memory, it still didn't worked. I have used the guides to open memories even on these old computers but don't actually get it to work. It still bothers me to this day some 25 years later...
